Filipe Luís is quality though, and better than Abidal indeed. Was really pissed off when we didn't buy him last season, although Maxwell has been ok. On this season's form Marcelo is better than José too.

Honestly José Enrique is a good player, but not *that* good. He relies in his physique a lot and his technique isn't all that.

When allowed to Abidal is very good going forward actually. But that doesn't happen much when Dani Alves is on the other side of the pitch. And we have Maxwell when we need two attacking fullbacks.
