Wasn't the whole of 2011/12 a demonstration of numero uno? Fully aware that season has been erased from our consciousness like.

Expand pls. Bar Brett, who has had a bit too much acid since the Villa win, I can't see anyone who could possibly be classed as a Pardew sympathiser (tragic description, btw) acting particularly clueless.

Get in. You said, and I quote, "All Pardew has to do is pick the right ones, in the correct positions, and we'll play well. Literally all he has to do". If you genuinely believe football management is such a basic science its nay wonder you're incandescent after every defeat. It's not even true that team selection was the main issue. The whole set-up was wrong. Formation, style of play, set pieces etc. It was clear the issues laid in training and how the team was set up. Team selection was massively effected by injuries (oh noe, he saids it) so was always going to be a case of trial and error. Pretty much all error like. Not sure why it bothers me, but your posts are all awful. Sure you use a proper suicidal Google translate.

Is 'throw away term' synonymous with 'utter bollocks'? I'm not getting carried away with the villa performance. Pardew still has a shitload of graft to do to make up for last seasons shambles, but some of the tripe that continues to be spouted in order to criticise him is ridiculous. More embarrassing than the tripe Pardew himself comes out with. Tripe. Not that I know of, like. As for the rest, what tripe get's used to critisise him? He's a poor football manager (relative to the club he's in charge of) who has a few very good players at his disposal. If you disagree then please explain why. Howay man Hans. There have been vast swathes of tripe spouted. What you have said there isn't tripe, although I would argue he is an average manager. Kaka's post was one that can be placed in the tripe section of the Venn diagram. If I had the time before Pointless I could present whole collage of tripe.

Some have attempted to make unbiased, level-headed posts consistently over the past few months. Sorry like, but that just smacks of you thinking that you're some sort of connosseur of football. I haven't read what these 'unbiased, level-headed posts' are, but I'd be interested to be filled in on what they could be and how having a dislike for crap football from the same manager is biased? Nar, just find it funny that the lad who was trying to organise a protest march is suggesting other people are kneejerking.

Spot on as always Kaka. All a premier league manager has to do is pick a starting XI. There are literally no other aspects to creating a good passing side. Consistently the most dramatic and biggest spouter of nonsense on here. Some feat.
  9. So why are you defending him when no one was said anything against him in this thread, unless you are only on here to patronise other fans? Eh? You been at the cowies again? I can just see right through you and your useless posts. Areet. I was genuinely just watching MOTD and rejoicing in the fact our manager is not Paulo Di Canio. Then bang, radgie Neesy pulls his Rockports on and is all up in my grill. Wew wew wew. You looking at your midget self in the mirror? Ermagerd, what's even gan on? That fifth can of Special Brew was a mistake Neesy mate. Pretty sure we're like the same height anarl Says the midget. Wot? Night bbz x

  13. Pardew might talk some shite but he benefits from not being a clinically insane Italian like. Positives.
  14. Haven't even heard of half the freaks. Properly shite.
  15. Erm, last season? Remy didn't play for us last season mate. He was vital today anarl. Keep this front 3 fit and it'll be a canny season.

    Papiss Cissé

This. Think the trifecta of Remy, Ben Arfa and Cisse will be fantastic so happy to stick with it. Don't see Gouffran as the focal point of a front 3. Think impact sub is his role, as much as he probably deserves a start. What does Cisse provide as that focal point? IMO Gouffran has more to his game and there is nothing that currently sticks out to favour Cisse. As wor Lotus said, he keeps the defence occupied and is more likely to put any chances away than Gouffran, despite current form. Just think we need to play an out-and-out striker tbh. We ain't no España.

There's been relevant mitigating factors people are happy to ignore so it's a pointless debate. Some people are almost upset he might be on his way to proving them wrong. Bitter-sweet for the boo boys... That's absolute horseshit. I think the first people to criticize Pardew would also be the first ones to love seeing him succeed. But I'm with Mick, he got forced to play this team and we looked better. Still doesn't take away the fact he started Shola last week. He wasn't 'forced' to play any team. Utter nonsense as per. He selected a team that nullified Villa and played some good stuff. Nothing ground-breaking but he and the team deserve credit. Tell me this, if Jonas wasn't injured would he have played Jonas or not? I bet you even Shola would've started had he been fit. As for Haris Vukcic post above, I'm on the other side of your argument and won't really discuss it you now. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'd guess he probably wouldn't have played Jonas. I am not 100% sure, but I'm not going to criticise Pardew for an imaginary scenario in my bonce. He's made positive selections in the last two matches. If you wish to focus on negative ifs and buts, fair enough, but please be aware that your patter is highly depressing. I gave him credit for today, I'm just questioning some people on here for thinking it was a perfect perfomance by us. We won, and I'm happy as fuck we got the three points. You also stated he was 'forced' to pick the team he did today and then made up possible scenarios in order to criticise him. Tripe from start to finish.

So angry and defensive. Taylor and Tiote weren't starting, thus have been dropped. Don't see the need to criticise the manager on 'ifs'. We've started the season reasonably well all things considered. Obviously anyone mildly optimistic is a window licker though.
  22. That's not really what people are saying, it's that he's repeatedly picked the wrong team with the players available to him. People aren't expecting him to play players that are injured. I'm really happy with the last 2 performances (and obviously results) and hope we stick to that lineup when everyone's fit. Apart from Gouffran perhaps in for Cisse, given the form they're both in. Fair enough A losing team is always going to be the wrong team. Honestly get the feeling though that today was the type of performance that Pardew has been working towards and we're likely to see more of the same. I'd keep Cisse in tbh. Hasn't done much of late but think a front 3 of Remy/Barfa/Gouffran would be too much of the same type of player.
