What you have to realise is people cannot look past their hatred for Ashley and Llambias in any single circumstance. No matter what any individual does they will claim it is right as long as it is in opposition to Ashley. Joey Barton and Willie McKay are clearly using this to their advantage in this situation. I don't know when it became acceptable to rubbish your club and behave so badly because you don't think the owner is spending enough money, or giving contracts to your mates. The owners have stated that this is how the club is going to be run. Support the team, and look forward to better days, whether that be a change in ownersip as some want, or a change in policy. Interesting to note the window has a month to run still, but people have convinced themselves that no more players are coming in, and are being fueled by this rage. Can't see Jonas playing as anything but a winger. Gosling is still a bit of an unknown entity. Barton/Tiote/Cabaye would have been ideal tbh.

Don't understand it at all The only thing that matters is what happens on the pitch, this can only negatively effect us. I haven't seen anyone defending the decision based on the effect. But isn't having a player mouthing off every couple of days an untenable situation? It's not every other day though, is it? The owner's inability to invest and hang onto key players is far more worrying. Joey has called a spade a spade and as a result has been kicked out.

The only hassle I've witnessed is a few muppets on a messageboard crying into their keyboards. Right. Well if you could afford the occasional newspaper you'd see that his words create negativity far beyond the forums that we just don't need when trying to attract players and maintain a modicum of team spirit. As I've said previously, our signing of players depends on the owners actually offering players suitable wages, not the words of one disenfranchised individual. Don't wish to be a doom-mongering heedthaball but this is far from being gospel imo. Our 3 signings are as yet unproven the PL. Pretty certain Cabaye will be fine and Ba should do a job, but have absolutely no idea how Marveaux will fare. As it stands we are going into the season in essentially the same position as last year; decent starting XI but fuck all else.
