  1. Surely photoshopped? Looks like one of the coneheads.
  2. At least you'll get 7th after a shite start.
  3. Love how everyone of our shit players is a massive cunt. You're so tense. Relax.
  4. Money. Unlike in FM, Football League clubs have to pay a lot of extra money to take along 2 extra subs they'll never consider using. What? Do you mean things like travel expenses? Surely these massive football clubs could cover the cost of transporting two extra people throughout the relatively small area that comprises England and Swansea. Championship-League 2. Some teams in those leagues can barely afford a sausage & bean melt, nevermind extra players. they were still under no obligation to name 7 subs, just they had the option of naming up to 7 if they wanted to. Its a decision that makes no logical sense whatsoever Plus, don't they name a "squad" to travel? Even if they don't name the extra two on the bench, they still travel down before the manager decides on team and bench? Sincerely doubt it will be travel costs causing this change. Would imagine having the possibility of using 7 subs gives the richer clubs an unfair advantage over many of the poor-as-fuck clubs. Haven't read anything about it like so could well be spouting shite.

  6. Tru dat. Add Ba to the mix and our Fab 5 has the people of Catalonia shitting on their espadrilles.
  7. We're not killing each other in the streets or owt.
  8. Course, totally agree, I just don't think you can use that to judge the transfer itself (not saying you are specifically). Surely a sale has to be judged on whether it helps the squad improve in the near future? The Milner sale certainly didn't. Hopefully the Carroll sale will......
  9. Plenty couldn't give a shit what a few morons did on a Friday night in Darlington. Would be nice if the club's "solution" didn't involve a £20 fee for those who fancy a match though. Not asking too much.
  10. membership gives you discounted home tickets to cover the cost doesnt it? You wouldnt miss out in that case. Wasn't aware of this. Still, can only get to a few these days due to wonga issues, so probably wouldn't actually recoup the membership fee. For those who can only make 2-3 games a season, this is just going to be a ballache and many won't bother. Last year it was £5 a game off iirc, am sure being £5 out of pocket in order to attend any number of away games isnt going to ruin it for you. It maybe so that it works out as a decent deal for some, but for a lot more it will be a deterrent.

  12. So you attribute no blame to the people that ran onto the pitch? Correct.
  13. Wow, just seen this. Fucking shocking. Go to more away games than home but guess that fun's over. Club is ran by complete tools.
  14. I was Kansas City Wizards until a few months ago. Can't decide whether that's better or worse. Aye. Seem to have just plucked a random European prefix. Should have went for Kansas City Alexandra.
  15. The Ameobi dynasty will LIVE ON!! Sounds like it was a lively one Have always wanted a "....we're on the pitch" chant to materialise.
  16. This sort of shit is even more tedious than the actual doom-mongering.
  17. That's probably why nobody has came anywhere close to this conclusion. Personally never expected us to sign N'Zogbia but even with a month and a half of the window left I'm becoming slightly worried. Pardew's constant talk of the money already spent is slightly ominous. Hopefully we'll at least manage to bring a quality striker in, but not holding my breath.
  18. Yeah. It's not like we bid £10m for him in the Jan transfer window to give people the idea we were interested in him like. Beats me where people get these ideas from. So what's your criticism there, that we bid for him? I thought you were annoyed because we didn't? If we were willing to pay £12m in January then why not pay £10m now? Well I guess people are angry for allowing themselves to be sucked in again and believing the club were actually serious about spending money on new top quality players. Maybe some are starting to think the £12m offer was just another stunt by the fkn idiots at this club, more cloak & dagger bullshit. FFS Skirge man, how is the £12m offer a stunt when we denied ever putting a bid in for him!?!?! What is the difference between a "feeler" and a bid like?
  19. Is that any different to any other club? Manager asks for a player, money men say yes or no. Not every club received £35m in January tbf.
  20. Desperately need another striker. If Best or Shola are starting for long spells next season, we'll struggle for goals.
  21. Impressed in a shocking side. Will probably be a failure at Merseyside Red.
  22. Souness > Kinnear tbh. Never had that much of a problem with FFS tbh. Mind you, I literally couldn't give a flying fuck about the finances of the club unless it's about to fold.
  23. Quite clear we're going to spend nowhere near £35m. Does make you wonder what we'd be doing in the market without the Carroll sale.
