  1. What a fantastic article.
  2. We've got zero chance of staying up regardless of the result of the Norwich v Beasts game. Hope Norwich hammer them but got a sneaky feeling the beasts will beat them.
  3. At least the £40m we got for him can be reinvested in the squad for next seasons promotion push. Oh wait a minute...........
  4. Severe case of cowardice. Expected to last until the end of the season.
  5. You keep saying this bollocks but we had Woodgate, Speed and Shearer through the spine. Soft? Nah. They are defensively better though. The amount of clean sheets and 1-0 wins they've racked up is what will win them the title.
  6. 50,000 people will applaud these gutless cowards onto the pitch next week. Just think about how ridiculous that is for a moment
  7. As bad a decision that it was it wasn't just the sending off that went against us. He allowed sunderland and clattermole in particular to kick anything that moved time and time again and amazingly didn't book a single one of their players during the entire game. Almost unheard of in a fiercely contested derby game. If ever a referee directly influenced the result of a match then this was it and he shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near another NUFC match again. We're garbage enough without refereeing performances like that against us
  8. Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse the referee has been announced as Robert Madeley. It will be the first time he's refereed us since his disgraceful display of bias against us at the stadium of sh!te back in October. I've changed my prediction to a 4-0 loss with a penalty and a sending off against us thrown in for good measure.
  9. Agree. You wouldn't be able to pay people to watch Burton Albion at home on a Wednesday night in January. Season ticket sales won't be anywhere near the levels they were last time we went down either.
  10. They'll send them out the week after Pardew has mathematically relegated us without a hint of irony.
  11. There wasn't 40k+ for every home game last time we were in the Championship. Under 37k for our first home game that season and even the match v West Brom only pulled in 39k. Since then more people have cancelled their direct debits so I think there'll be plenty sub 40k gates next season, especially when you consider we won't tear the league up like we did last time.
  12. I still don't understand how it's come to this. We went out of the League Cup back in September and we departed the FA Cup at the first hurdle again as planned, yet fellow relegation fodder like Watford and Crystal Palace are off to an FA Cup Semi Final and are still both going to be in the Premier League. This is completely at odds to the scenario the NUFC board of directors have preached to us many times in the past.
  13. Whatever happens at least you can say you've seen us win a few FA Cups and the Fairs Cup! I'm 38 and there's a good chance I'll never see NUFC win anything in my lifetime.
  14. The result makes next to no difference. The final few games of the season are nothing more than glorified friendly games now such is their importance. For the record I think we'll lose 3-0.
  15. They've cost him £150m. I'd be flabbergasted if they didn't lose their jobs.
  16. Thought he was a more than capable right back. Virtually an ever present in the season we finished 5th and didn't he make something like 5 or 6 goal line clearances that season so he had a knack of being in the right place at the right time. Clearly benefitting from proper coaching now.
  17. If I was given a choice I would rather have Rafa and Ashley at the club than neither of them. Replace Charnley with a competent MD and get rid of Moncur and Carr and we could do OK. Love Benitez but I'd sacrifice him if it meant getting rid of Ashley. The club is rotten to the core and it all stems from Ashley. Soon to be 2 relegations, plenty more scrapes with relegation, embarrassing cup exits, sports direct arena, Dennis Wise, Joe Kinnear, Pardew, Llambias, just some of the most loathsome human beings we've had at our club since that fat bast@rd came in. I could go on but what's the point? Benitez will be gone soon enough anyway. He'll have far better offers than us, cone the summer. Nailed on for Valencia imo.
  18. Colback isn't a left back either but he got slated for his performance there (justifiably so). Anita has been a total non entity since we signed him and when he has started games he's nearly always hooked before the end.
  19. This is my line of thinking as well. Arrived from a club with a winning mentality. Part of an international set-up with the highest standards & expectations in place......... and then thrust into the demotivating forcefield that is Sports Direct United with it's losing culture & amateurish set-up. It's quite a culture shock. As you allude to the workrate off the ball is non-existent now. Such a slick & talented footballer but the reality is he mmentally checked out a while ago. Think this attitude gives the players an easy cop out. He's come to what is supposedly the best league in the world where players from countries such as Holland dream of playing. He will have received a hefty pay rise on his arrival and plays in front of 50k in one of Europe's best stadiums. Surely if he had a single ounce of professional pride he would still perform for himself and his team mates if nothing else. He's no more than a coward, same as Sissoko, Coloccini, Tiote etc. The squad is littered with them, 10 or 11 of them have cried off with injuries and those that go out on the pitch haven't tried a leg for just about the entire season. The much fabled recruitment policy has been completely blown to bits this season. How Carr is still in employment is anyone's guess. He should be sat in a nursing home somewhere, not head of recruitment at a Premier League football club.
  20. He's been an absolute disgrace since Xmas. One of the few players Ashley will be able to get his money back for in the summer.
  21. I'd actually go to the next home game if I thought the crowd would turn on the incompetents in the directors box and the cowards on the pitch because I'd be up off my seat leading it all but sadly we have a different crowd than we had pre Ashley and I'd more than likely get into a fight for daring to criticise the players and the board so I'll just stop away.
