Happy with Klinsmann, not sure how good of a manager he is considering his last two jobs, but he should really help change us.
-
He's taken us as far as he can, it was definitely time for a change. We definitely took a few steps backwards since the World Cup, a change should do well at this point.
-
Should be interesting to see where we go from here.
-
I would have liked to see Ba snatch at his chances a little more, but that's pretty irrelevant when you play as well as he did on the ball.
-
I got a good view of it, stood up right as it left his foot, which was kind of awkward as I was the only one standing as it slowly bent in. Really good performance though. I'd hope this means we'll see him a few more times this season.
-
Fair point. I still would rather keep him in the center, he looked great going forward, but also just as well breaking up attacks last night.
-
I don't think he has the pace to play there. He'll do perfectly fine in the center, he can use his size to his advantage a lot more there, too.
-
On the right, moved over to the left after some late subs.
-
He was solid enough. Made a few nice runs going forward, didn't seem mobile enough to play fullback. Good defensively, but really the whole team was, there weren't many chances for Columbus.
-
Gosling looked really impressive, he;s really a force in midfield now that he's so big. He's going to be nice to have come off the bench. Shola really took advantage of rolling out the step-over today. He did it constantly. Jonas looked slightly lost without Jose, but that might be because he was linking up with Tav.

I was really hoping for a goal once he was subbed on, he had a half chance from distance earlier he didn't take. Made some nice touches throughout. Goal was great though, I knew it was in right as he hit it, took a nice bend and in off the post. That's the first real positive thing I've seen him done, glad I was there in person.
-
He had a much better second half than first. Struggled going forward and passing in the first, looked really unimpressive. At one point in the second he dribbled the ball directly out of bounds, but he made some nice attacking moves and was good defensively the whole game.

Good showing from pretty much everyone. Great to see Haris score, especially such a nice goal. Jose's body language was in full effect, too. I'll post a better review tomorrow.

Fucking sucks, but could be worse. Urgh.

Douglas isn't there. He's in the N.E, just got back from Sunderland tour. I know, I'm just basing this on one conversation he had with some guy. @babybeth1892 beth king @MsiDouglas what you hearing mark? 2 hours ago via Echofon replies ↓ MsiDouglas Mark Douglas @ @babybeth1892 The pitches, injuries etc. No great secret or anything... Just doesn't paint a great picture 2 hours ago Doesn't seem to be much in it besides what we already know. What are the other local journalists saying?
-
Have they said anything though? Douglas' comment seems to be based on things we already know.

guess I won't be seeing him play, and my Enrique shirt has become irrelevant.

What a goal
-
15 million is way too much for him, especially considering his form last season. Not even the type of striker they need, really.
-
Bendtner hasn't proven much, except he does have some skill. It would be...interesting to see what he could do in a side every week. Him failing or succeeding are equally possible.

Fredy Montero. Not good enough, could make it in a few pretty good European leagues, but not the better ones.
