How does that work exactly? Denied a goalscoring opportunity... By that logic every pen is also a sending off.. Having this same discussion with someone else right now. Denying a clear goal scoring opportunity red shouldn't matter in the box, as no one's going to intentional foul in the box like they would outside. Red cards on denying goal scoring opportunities should only be given if it's an intentional foul, not just a clumsy tackle.
