Which manager hasn't made bad signings? Sir Alex Ferguson signed loads of dross I've always thought Keegan's transfer record to be outstanding, at least at Newcastle. Who were his worst signings? Mathie? Hottiger? Hooper? Mathie and Hottiger were fine. Jason Drysdale maybe. His first spell doesn’t really have any massive flops as such. Mark Robinson joined and then was injured so much he had to retire so maybe him. KK’s transfer dealings for NUFC were outstanding. Would still love to know his NET spend as I think many people will be surprised to find out he didn’t spend that much in the end. That summer went he got Barton, Hislop, Ginola and Sir Les. Certainly not the last few pages. Depends whether you're interested in discussing the moral ramifications of the club that is supposed to represent you and your city being owned by these people.
