  1. In isolation 3-0 down after twenty minutes means there is a fundamental problem with the team, shouldn't happen regardless of who we are playing. Take into account the rest of our problems under McClaren, mainly our away form, and he has got to go. Not good enough.
  2. He's against John Terry and the ball is floating way over his head, f*** all he can do. Shearer would be doing all he could to give himself space, if it means a bit of grappling then so be it, Mitrovic has the height and build but doesn't know how to use it. The delivery into him is fucking hopeless, Shearer wouldn't have been able to do anything with most of these balls sailing over his head. Needs to be flatter if that's the game plan.

  4. As if the useless cunt could get the team to 'stick' anyway. I guarantee he sent the team out with instructions to 'keep it tight for the first 20 minutes'. Said so in his interview. Plan executed perfectly as usual.
  5. Man it doesn't matter who we are playing, it's unacceptable to play like this. We're fucked with him in charge, whether we stay up or go down.
  6. Barring the two goals we've been canny, means fuck all like.
  7. Steve said we will be able to tell the result of the game after the first twenty mins... May as well turn it off

Agree with you but isn't this a bit of a contradiction? Not really, I'm an outsider, his club must have known something man! Unless they spotted him behind the Chinese takeway I doubt it. Not really something you would talk about I'd imagine

  10. It's about the quality of the league and the level of success you can achieve more than the location, I understand a Brazilian may have no attachment or desire to go to Stoke etc, but I'd like to think surely they do to the size or reputation of the league.
  11. The majority of them stop earning totally at 35. The difference between 2m and 8m is huge when it comes to your children and grandchildren Aye but the top players earn more in a week then some of the other highest paid professions get paid in a year. It might be a ten year career, but I think the amounts are so obscene that it really shouldn't be a case of needing to go to the highest paid club, they should chose the best football club on offer, and they will still earn enough for their children/grandchildren or whatever they need. I always imagined to make it as a top level footballer you would need to have a real passion for not only the sport, but in being the very best you can be, or at least recognition for your success. Shame it doesn't seem that way for some players.
