And although I agree that Fletcher, Carrick and Anderson would improve us in the centre, i'd also argue that Barton would offer Man U a lot more creativity than those 3 combined in the middle for them. He'd be given a LOT more time on the ball there.

If you mean most passionate though then you may have a case, it's debatable. The Tyne & Wear derby is hardly unique though in it's 'hatred'.

It's not the biggest derby in England though, Man U & Liverpool is. I doubt anyone outside of either team realy gives a shit tbh, just as I don't about the Birmingham derby etc.

The Tyne & Wear derby is on par with Palastine & Isreal like.
