Tyldsleybtalks far too much man

Taylor was poor defensively, he was capable of having a solid game but he was hardly the reason for our solid defensive record.
-
Shola doesn't deserve personal abuse, but he gets stick (or Pardew does for playing him) because he should be no where near the team. It's more "why the fuck is he still playing for us, he's shit", which to be honest is a harsh but accurate statement. Fans clearly believe that Cisse is actually more than good enough to be our main centre forward and therefore have much more time for him being in the side. Surely you can see the difference here? EDIT: No doubt certain players are used as scapegoats when we lose like.
-
Was he not the guy QPR (?) were trying to sign at the start of the season? Number 1 that is.
-
He really isn't. If anything Cisse drops back into midfield.
-
How does this surface suit our technical players? Or more to the point, how does the grass that we play on week in week out not?
-
What the fuck are you talking about? Nobody is "happy with less" from Cisse, they just believe he is a better player than this season is showing and that he will likely turn it around when he regains his form. A lot of this has been down to his own lack of confidence and composure, but your insistence on placing the blame solely on him is absurd, and your Darren Bent comparisons are borderline offensive.

We haven't played 442 for months Could have fooled me. Are you taking the piss?
-
Pardew played a blinder in all of those situations. An absolute blinder.
-
Is that what this bent crusade is all about? Trying to prove some arbitrary point that some players are criticised more than others? Shola is a poor footballer who shouldn't be getting games for us, he certainly shouldn't be the 2nd best striker on our books. The same goes for Simpson at RB, the guy also appears to be a bit of a cunt. It's understandable that people don't want them in the side and will be a bit miffed when they are.
-
A couple of people said he should have made a change with about 20 minutes to go, most people disagree. I don't think he's been slated for the match at all. Had we played poorly and lost it would be a different story.
-
I don't think many people have knocked him for the the Swansea game, if we play well and lose people tend to be fairly accepting.
-
I cannot really see any reason why Pardew couldn't keep Wigan up tbh

Agree a manager has influence, but the way some go on, on this forum, is that he should be consistently waving his magic wand and making things happen. We should have beaten Swansea. Gouf and others could/should have scored (individual errors). The goal we conceded was a shambles (individual errors). What I would be interested in is us as a community scoring the various aspects of being a manager, eg: Relationship with Media Relationship with Fans Relationship with Chairman/Owner Relationship with Board Relationship with Scout Man Management Ability to execute within a strict framework/budget Pre-Game Strategy etc Training/Coaching etc Not an exhaustive list, but you get the point. I think he scores very VERY well in some areas, and probably not so well in others. http://i1269.photobucket.com/albums/jj594/stuartwcullington/AlanPardewOverview_Profile.png

I have no idea which managers would want to manage Newcastle or not so anyone I suggest would be pointless I think most managers with a track record of playing expressive attacking football would be a better choice though, preferably from the continent. Pardew simply isn't amongst the top bracket of managers imo. Really I only put that down to try and stop people being lazy and just naming the best managers currently in the game, who I can't imagine would jump at the chance to manage us. Are people wanting someone like Sousa or Martinez? I probably wouldn't want either. I don't think Martinez would be a bad choice tbh, although it really wouldn't be worth the gamble It just seems the arguments for keeping Pardew seem to be "because he doesn't deserve to be fired" (he fucking did about 6 weeks ago) and "who else will come here?" I sort of agree with the first bit now, he's starting to drag himself out of a massive fucking hole so it would be harsh to sack him, I do think that if Mike was a bit more adventurous we could find a better manager from abroad though. I'm not going to suggest who that manager would be as I honestly haven't got a fucking clue
-
You could name Shola a few times too tbh (Spurs & Reading, he also helped us snatch a point from Everton) We could also of course ask the question "How has his management lost us games this season" As it currently stands he's doing well so I hope it continues, and if he does he should undoubtedly be given another season at least. He's not a shit manager by any means.

Definitely the worst post I've ever read. Where am I wrong? In the head.
-
Well why don't you try and explain exactly why you "still have time for Pardew then"? How his management has won us games this season etc? I'm not exactly against him personally, it's just patently obvious that there are many managers out there who could do far more with our players than he can/has, whether or not we would be able to get them, or if the owners would even have the sense to choose the right one is a different story. P.s most people were nothing but complimentary to Pardew despite out loss to Swansea anyway, if we play like that from now on I'm sure people will warm to him pretty quickly.

Cisse total offsides... 27 Benteke total offsides... 40 I realise you're trying to be all mischievous and contrary but that still doesn't excuse you from being able to create a coherent argument.
