He's been really unlucky really, neither this injury or his leg break were his fault.
I just want him to pick the ball up inside his own half in the derby and score a magnificent solo effort that gets goal of the month. It's nailed on tbh.
LukeEdwardsTele Luke Edwards
Early indication from Pardew is Ben Arfa not broken ankle which is main thing. Ligament damage could still rule him out for a mnth tho #nufc
Hope he's back for the derby!
Not necessarily, being raised here is more than enough imo (this being my case!)
Yeah sorry i was meant to include 'brought up here' somewhere in there.
Been there, done that.
Conclusion is always Ashley is a twat.
Indeed, but whats the point of all the negativity.
Do not listen to what the club/Pardew say, let the action speak, and judge when its over.
If its shit, go bananas on Fatty
Tru dat.
I guess the club still employ Hughton's scriptwriter.
"We have some good, quality players and also what we do have, is a good spirited group of lads..."
It's just a few days ago Stoke had their bid accepted. Why didn't we match that if we're interested?
Because we weren't interested! Now that the number of strikers available to us that we actively seek to purchase has dropped, maybe we are now. We might put a bid in now.
It is TWO DAYS since Stoke had their bid accepted. Between Tuesday and today we haven't lost out on any of our striker targets.
We could have easily been in talks with other strikers and not thinking about Carlton Cole though. We made bids for strikers who turned us down, then we chase Erding who is unlikely to come, now Carlton Cole's deal has collapsed we are possibly turning to him. So you are saying just because we didn't bid for him we are not interested? There is a while to go in the transfer market and Carlton Cole will be well down the list of possible striker options.
