Someone else said it earlier in the thread, but you just knew that if there was a team to get their first win of the season, it would be against us! I always remember the time in the past when Peter Crouch hadn’t scored a goal in like 15 years of football and then scored against us - just had to be!

Used to be the best bit of the drive to Newcastle when I was a bairn. Dad would stop off halfway at a Little Chef or Happy Eater then maybe chips by the river at Wetherby too if we were lucky. Something about the beans at the Little Chef made it mint, seemed different from the tinned beans we got at home somehow. Used to love a jacket potato from Happy Eater! Good times!
