  1. He didnt really link up that well with Jonas in that interview.
  2. Shola, without a doubt. Whilst Leon Best has done well for us, his technique sometimes reminds me of someone who is new to football and just trying to hit the ball with no skill or technique.
  3. Given. Albert Woodgate Bernard. Solano Speed Beardsley Robert Ginola. Shearer Ferdinand.
  4. Really not sure about Elmander i have to say.
  5. Is he still being linked with a transfer to us in the Summer?
  6. Graham Fenton? Mickey, Graham, same thing.
  7. One of the negatives of Enrique going, which i think is a big disappointment, is his link up play and understanding with Jonas. They have a very good understanding, they know eachothers' game, and they often link up very well on the left. It will obviously take time for a replacement left back to get that understanding with Jonas.
  8. For some strange reason i had a random thought about the time, years ago, we played at Blackburn and i think a lad called Micky Fenton or something like that scored a couple of goals, one was a good lob over Shaka, think we lost 2-0, just a random thought.
  9. I thought that yesterday when Szczesny was seemingly having a sleep on the ball towards the end of the game against Man Utd.
  10. I agree. His 'wait until the Summer', seems to have been just a way to maybe not annoy the fans by saying he is leaving in the Summer.
  11. Tiote's latest interview has stated that he wants to be challenging within the top 4 or 5 of the Premiership. That would need a lot of money spent on our squad to get anywhere near that level. So the question is, when will he start getting annoyed with the lack of money spent on the squad and go, much like Enrique seems to be.

    Shola Ameobi

Just interested to see what you guys think, what other teams in the Premiership, would Shola start for?
  13. Williamson has done well i think, but he is still learning the game. Some of his positioning and decision making is bizarre at times. Like Pardew has said, whether it was a penalty or not is irrelvant, Williamson shouldnt have put himself in the position where Suarez has got goal side of him, he should have dealt with the ball before it got anywhere near that situation. As others have said in this thread, he is too 'hands on' at times, i think it was when we played Bolton, he was allover their players and lucky not to give away penalties. Whether he should be in the starting line-up or not, im not sure, he would be a very good player to have on the bench or as cover, but i think we need someone commanding to partner Colo.
  14. It did seem that he took his time to decide if it was a goal or not.
  15. Excellent news. A very much under-rated player.
  16. He would be quite expensive i would imagine, he is a good player.
  17. http://www.nufcblog.com/2011/04/25/alan-pardew-pleased-at-transfer-funds-made-available/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+nufcblog+%28The+Newcastle+United+Blog%29
  18. He did. He thought Williamson caught Campbell. Not sure what he was looking at.
  19. I dont mind Holloway, but if he thinks either the Williamson or the Krul moments, were penalties, then he is amazingly wrong. Williamson didn't even touch Campbell. Krul clearly got a hand to the ball. As for Enrique, that pass across the area, was absolutely ridiculous.
