  1. Who is this Douglas guy, who tweeted the stuff about the players above?

  3. He will come to us, he has said that he wants to be good mates with Nile Ranger, and have a conversation along the lines of 'ooooh, i fort u iz Scottish'.
  4. I am just watching a 2:32 minute video, looks a decent player, good at set-pieces too. Would be nice if there is some truth in the articles linking him with us.
  5. 1 thing to keep in mind about Tony Pulis... he must think Kenywne Jones is a good footballer.

    Gervinho

Would we really sign a player for £15million, really?
  7. Defoe would be an awesome signing.
  8. It was a great season for us. Most people had us pegged for relegation at the start, remember? Disappointing end, granted, but 12th place is still an achievement. Very true, but when 9th place was in sight, and should have easily been achieved today, it is a little disappointing. Like you say, on the whole, a very good season for us.
  9. The table just looks so different, despite it being only 3 place difference, the 'live tables' showing us in 9th, looked like a great season for us.
  10. Any idea on the team Man Utd are putting out today against Blackpool?
  11. I thought Larsson was older than he is, he is only 26. Would be a good signing.
  12. Sturridge would be a very good signing, young, a goalscorer, has pace, and will only improve. He would be excellent.
  13. They are very strong words from Pardew, i think he is correct with his views on the situation though.
  14. To be fair, Pardew is absolutely right in what he has said in that interview. There is no point in keeping players who dont want to play for Newcastle. Whilst i dont think with Jose, it is a matter of not wanting to play for the club, but realising the fact that he is a very good player, and wants to progress with his career. At Newcastle now, there is actually a desire to play for the shirt, rather than in recent years, where players have just been on silly contracts and not really bothered. We want to keep the mentality of players wanting to play for the club and putting 100% in every performance. If that means Enrique going, then as much as it would be disappointing, there isn't much point in keeping him if he has his sights set much higher.
