Did anyone actually see the incident? Or have a link? For me it's deffo a bad mistake from Pardew. A typical thing that can be blown out of porportions. Not saying Enrique did nothing wrong, but so unnecessary.

He outs player in the public. A good manager takes stuff like that inside the dressing room. What do you mean outs him? The journalist brought it up, there's not much else Pardew could have said IMO. Journo: Do you think Enrique will be back for the Wigan game? Pardew: I'll have to check his twitter. I didn't actually see it, but can see there being a sense of bitterness in that answer.

tkkarlsen Tor-Kristian Karlsen "våger ikke legge denne ut på engelsk feed i frykt for ståhei: har rimelig god intel på at chelsea har kontaktet guardiola..." "Don't dare put this on the english feed in fear of "chaos": have fairly good inside information about Chelsea contacting Guardiola." Dunno why he would go to Chelsea tho.. And Pardew - what a massive cock. Why make a fuzz out of twitter? f***..
  6. Perch and Smith, for gods sake Pards. RANGER - GET IN!
  7. It's destiny. 2-1 victory. Don't ask questions - you'll see.
  8. We are in every position in the world to reject £ 30 mil for one of the most exciting talents in English football with a five year contract. even if the player decides he wants to leave ? That has nothing to do with the amount of money we get offered.

  10. All the same arguments over and over again. Getting damn tired tbh. He is a Newcastle player - let's enjoy it.
  11. Jose Enrique has called himself out of this match on twitter.
  12. You are probably right on the second account because we are seen as a below average Premiership club who just got promoted, but there are quite a few better strikers (non English) that would be valued at below 30M. Carrol is good and has age on his side but by no means is he a world class striker, let alone a finished product. Disagree. This season, Carroll has been a world class striker. He's got 11 goals and 3 assists (and IIRC, that's not counting Sholas second in the derby and Bartons vs Liverpool) in 18 games in the league so far, and on top of that, he's winning pretty much everything in the air and I'd say that no defender that we've faced so far has been able to cope with him. Officially 6.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

http://www.caughtoffside.com/2010/12/27/liverpool-hope-to-persuade-5m-newcastle-united-winger-hatem-ben-arfa-to-make-anfield-move/ "Liverpool are reportedly considering a move to bring Hatem Ben Arfa to Anfield and will attempt to beat Newcastle United to sealing the French winger on a permanent deal. The 23 year old is currently on loan at St James’ Park but is sidelined with a long term injury after breaking his leg against Manchester City early in the season and Roy Hodgson is hoping to pip the Magpies to securing a deal to bring the Marseille man to Anfield in the summ." That lame cock couldn't persuade a three year old with all the candy in the world. Hodgson isn't even the one who's in charge of the transfers, so either the journos have changed Comolli for Hodgson, or just they've made up some s*** rumor.
  14. Enrique on twitter: "but always im honest thats why i say im tired.my hamstring is so tite but i have traitment now with the fisios and we will se" "if for tomorrow i can play. But i let you know tomorro morning if i can play. Take care and thanks everyone for your support" Fuc*ing hamstring thing again. Would be gutted if he didn't play tomorrow, but then again, would hate for us to take bigger riskes with this lovely bloke.
  15. City is one of the teams I would love the most to beat. The supporters...such cocks..
  16. What a load of utter rubbish. Fair enough, say you don't want him for money/age reasons, but the suggestion that he's 's***' is ludicrous. Let's ask liverpudlians aye? Aye, we'll ask them about Michael Owen while we're at it Hardly the same thing.. They don't like Keane because he didn't play very well there, but they like Owen because he did play very well there. Just shows that his appearance at one club doesn't shape his career. He's been great for Spurs. Of course not, but the keyword is "when". When did he play well? When have he been mediocre? Great for Spurs - again - when?

  19. Hugo Almeida will prob get insane wages in Turkey. And as for Sessegnon he would be a great asset, but I really don't care for players who "demands" anything.
  20. Fuck off to SWP, Keane and Woodgate. SWP - not the qualities we need, costly (salary) Keane - costly, been shit for a good while Woodgate - Are people seriously interested in this player?? He is a walking injury ffs.

    Nile Ranger

Quotes from Pardew in today's Northern Echo, which speculates that we'll be back to Nolan playing off Carroll against City. I was fairly sure Ranger would start on Sunday as well, but this would suggest otherwise. Not the first time we've heard of this sort of attitude/application from the lad either, is it? http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle/8757432.United_boss_believes_Ranger_not_quite_ready_to_lead_United_line/ (Same article is in the Journal as well, more or less: http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2010/12/24/nile-ranger-needs-to-change-attitude-61634-27879854/) If Pardew picks his team based on what he has seen in training over what he has seen in a game then he's an idiot. We'll get no points for a player training well, we could get points if a player plays well during a game. In fairness, he has only seen it in the late stages of that one game since he's been here. For all the most recent Ranger love, he hasn't contributed a great deal else when he's been involved previously in a similar capacity, and he's become vogue again simply because of Ameobi's (near) annual post-Mackem malaise, more than anything. The general issue, for me, is that it sends a bad message rewarding such a lax attitude. If you have a player - especially a young one supposedly making his way in the game with a big future ahead of him - turning up late to training and showing poor application when he gets there, picking him to start just reinforces his bad behaviour. There's no consequences for his actions and so he's given no incentive to learn/change. For all the talk of "this group of lads" and the professional spirit in the camp, I'm not a fan of hearing about this sort of attitude. Basically, I can see where Pardew is coming from if he doesn't pick him. The return to Nolan off Carroll may not be so bad, considering the way that City play. However, I'd obviously prefer it if Ranger wasn't acting the big-time arsehole and if this wasn't an issue at all so he could get his chance in a 4-4-2 and we could get at them. Who's your sources as far as Ranger's behaviour goes? Or are you just making up stuff? What behaviour? Turning up late for training and then not putting a proper shift in? Direct quotes from Alan Pardew, today, in the Journal/Northern Echo... And the arse-whole thing. But sorry, you're right of course. Read a bit too fast. Hopeless of Ranger really...

Don't really like those comments from Pardew. Almost like he rates him a bit too little. AND I'd really like for us to continue with 4-4-2.
