  1. This is exactly the same for me as well. Pretty much what i've been saying since the summer.
  2. It's a plus the likes of Debuchy/Yanga/Gouffran/Anita are all showing signs of coming on tremendously, they are still improving and adapting to the league and there is more to come from them. Tiote/Cabaye both are starting to find their previous form which seen us finish 5th in which they were instrumental. The major negative in our current side is the fact our number 9 is still woefully short of the standard we need him to be at. We can't keep playing Shola and we can't put the entire burden on Remy to the score goals. Pardew needs to get his act together and find a place for Ben Arfa in our side as well, preferably right wing.

Things are getting personal when my mother's choice of name is getting put on the table. I can assure everyone I'm not a secret yank. I think Altidore is shit!
  5. Good luck Ronaldo I'd have my analysis out tonight on how amazingly shit Swansea were and where Laudrup fucked up. Then point out (brag) how Newcastle were excellent yesterday and will finish above them now they don't have the Europe factor this season
  6. Sacking him, that would be an extreme. However they shouldn't just accept that performance on the back of a league cup. Especially when they got no apology from him in his interview or any sort of answers to why they were so shit. Cardiff are woeful and fully expected Swansea to get Mackay sacked. Yet they were hopeless. I think Laudrup is a brilliant manager but I think things might start to turn sour with them. Don't think they'll even be top 12 this season, especially after witnessing that today.
  7. I agree with that completely. I had Swansea on my bet which has pissed me off and he'll just escape any sort of criticism. On the other hand had Mackay lost, he's ever closer to being sacked but he'll not get the praise he deserves for that win.
  8. Ehhhh? Did people actually watch that first premier league welsh derby and think Swansea and Laudrup accounted themselves well? It was shocking, man! Mackay and Cardiff looked far more up for the fight and were good value for the win, fair play to them. Bellamy's passion is first degree, brilliant to see it.
  9. Trying too hard? I really like Laudrup as a manager, just thought today he was shocking along with his side. I've said from the start of the season it won't be the same Swansea as last season and I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise. Can see Laudrup and Swansea blowing up, tensions rose during the summer and when things start to turn sour on the pitch, it will be a matter of time. He shouldn't escape criticism by the way because he won a trophy, that was an unacceptable performance if you're a Swansea fan.
  10. 7/10, done well to bounce back back from last seasons horror show. Got a much better team spirit within the squad whilst playing much better football. Still inconsistent but we are improving and certain players are showing signs of progressing very well and looking exciting. Looking forward to see how we keeping progressing as a side and if we can really sure our true potential on a regular basis.
  11. Is Laudrup actually saying he is happy with this performance? Dominated game, restricted Cardiff but just couldn't score and they only scored off a corner? Strange interview, he looked disappointment but then didn't criticise any of his players or accept any blame himself.
  12. Unable to motivate his side for a derby and 11 points from 10 games. Not awfully impressive. Awful team selection, no motivation, awful tactics and poor substitutions! Swansea fans must be raging at that, never threatened a shocking Cardiff side!
  13. Laudrup deserves a massive slating for this, truly shocking management!

Hoof ball shouldn't be associated with us anymore. We've quite clearly changed our style of play. Even when we were direct midweek, we still mixed up with some nice football. Much more pleasing to watch. Even seeing Krul often look for the short pass now is positive.
  15. I brung Ba into the equation because it still makes me angry the way he treated us so he could enhance his chances of a move away from the club for more money. Cisse was taking the headlines, Newcastle were winning but Ba wasn't content because he wasn't being noticed anymore. Fair play though because Pardew never had the spine to tell him to fuck off, he got his wish to play CF, he scored goals again, Newcastle's form stuttered to say the least and he fucked off to Chelsea on a nice wage. What a wanker.
  16. He wanted to play in the position he was best in, nothing wrong with that tbh and I bet most forwards would be the same. We have seen since Ba left that he wasn't what stopped Cisse scoring so that excuse can go with the rest in the file marked 'Bullshit'. Ba was our best forward and not all that out wide. They should have been competing for a place rather than one being forced out wide. The blame lies with Ashley/Pardew. I wasn't mentioning anything about Cisse and his goals. More the fact I'm happy Gouffran doesn't have Ba's selfish attitude of I'm a CF and don't want to play on the wing. Gouffran is doing an excellent job and I have no doubt he will continue to do so wherever he maybe asked to play. That's what a team player is all about, not just playing in the position where you get the most accolade.
  17. We were playing well with Cisse banging them in and Ba was playing well on the wing just not scoring. What right did he think he had over the team to say I'm not playing on the wing anymore, I'm playing CF. Completely fucked us a team, we weren't the same team with the two up top or Cisse out wide. Ba might have scored goals again when back up top but we weren't half the team anymore, he chose his personal success over team success. I'm happy Gouffran doesn't have that attitude.
  18. He's playing so well on the wing, why suddenly move him to CF? Fullbacks most love having him in front of them, it's a huge positive for him that his work rate is actually preventing him from playing up top. I think it's great his team first attitude rather than being a self centered cunt like Ba who was all about himself and refused to put the team first like Gouff is now.

Yep, from our performances since Liverpool, a good win has been in the offing, thankfully yesterday it all came together, we created chances and took a couple of them. Credit to the players for taking the criticism in recent weeks and still showing that sort of fighting spirit, they give us a glimmer of hope now for Spurs, even if it's just a glimmer, it's hope at least which wouldn't have been there had we go beat yesterday.

All of the top 6 have at least one forward who cost £20m+ while we have spent about that amount on strikers in the entire time Ashley has been here. We do not currently have a competant centre forward at the club and Ameobi started again yesterday. Aside from Remy and Ben Arfa our attacking players look rank average to poor, and at the back the likes of Williamson and Dummett get a game. I cannot believe anyone thinks we would be a top 6 side if it wasn't for the manager. A good manager won't make us get into top 6, like you say their squads are still far better than ours. A good manager would ensure a far easier passage to finish 7th/8th however but i even believe Pardew can still get us to 8th just with more of a rollercoaster of a ride. Our standard of players is far greater than those around mid table spots and the players will gather enough momentum during the season to get us to top 8 imo.

I see where you're coming from, but the Ashley comments were disgusting tbf and no need to say it really. Obviously hasn't took the shine off the performance though, it was fantastic.

Yeah, it's just being blown out of proportion. Calls Cabaye over to explain what type of free kick he is looking for, cabaye executed it to perfection and we scored. Cabaye and Goff deserve the praise and Pardew admitted that himself.
  23. A player does not have to go the ref at all and cant be booked for not doing so, he can be booked for ignoring the ref when the ref is addressing him. Surely it's dissent to clearly ignore the refs whistle though? Not too mention disrespectful as f***. Typical Chelsea.
  24. A player does not have to go the ref at all and cant be booked for not doing so, he can be booked for ignoring the ref when the ref is addressing him. So a player can just run off 20 yards then say to the ref, if you want to book me, you jog over to me...neeee chance, should have sent the kernt off.
