Realistically we’re fucked in the run up to new year but Wilson’s body will keep breaking down periodically next year so I can see us doing unprecedented loan work in January
-
Aye, we’re fucked like. We’re going to need whoever is available to perform at a ridiculous level if we’re to get through to January with any hope of staying in top five contention
-
Would be a great option as a back up striker but it’s not really working with Isak having injuries as well. We need another striker and realistically, Wilson’s race is almost run given his age and injuries so we’ll need two strikers in the next year Id say. One as a proper back up to Isak and another as a development project

Interesting that Newcastle are faced with a 10-month ban for Tonali due to his actions at Milan. There need to be punishments for Chelsea for any historical actions of corruption in the same way that Olympic athletes are stripped of their medals years down the line
-
Would buy myself enough bandages to go for full body coverage and honour the man by turning up as a mummy in his first game back in our colours
-
Completely agree, he doesn’t beat a man down the line with trickery but he beats his man by cutting inside with his pace and close control. He’s clearly never going to be an elite dribbler and the signs aren’t there that he’s going to beat his man down the line and fizz crosses in but I do think we’ll see a lot of him cutting inside and getting shots off or cutting it across the 20 yard box to a free man

Aye, makes an absolute mockery of yellow cards on the pitch for me players questioning decisions when global press conferences go viral where the manager calls them a disgrace and an embarrassment
-
Can’t fault that, I know I’m saying that as the team that were awarded the decision but they’ve checked everything thoroughly and although there were several very close calls it was the right decision. Nightmare stuff for VAR so fair play to them. For Arteta to have shat on them he should be in the stands for the ten games

Ba was fine as long as he got his syrup
-
That was class, great reporting from Ainsley
-
He missed a ton of chances he shouldn’t have for Chelsea but his build-up play and wide forward play was very good for them in my opinion. He just wasn’t the solution for them in front of goal and likely wouldnt be for us either but I do think he’d add something to us on the wing and as an attacking midfielder. Not seen him once since he went back to Leipzig though
-
I wouldn’t be playing him as an out and out striker but his pace was fantastic and I think under Howe he’d be a completely different player. Excellent work rate too
-
100% although he was mainly deployed on the left wasn’t he? Think he’d do very well for us
-
He can’t shut the fuck up and is obsessed with trans discussions because of his daughter disowning him. He is obsessed with attention
-
Inzaghi was a predator though, that was his whole game. I’m sure he got done a lot but he also beat the trap a ton too. Cissé got done in situations where he just switched off and obviously forgot what was going on. He made up for it though by slamming in the best screamers for half a season that anyone has ever done
-
Has there ever been a better player at getting done for offside? Had an incredible ability to be offside in situations where he never should have been. Still loved him and his big smile

Saudi Arabia are absolutely destroying how FFP operates in this country. It was already a shitshow without SA digging Liverpool and Man U out of the dirt. The fees for Fabinho and Henderson were ridiculous
-
Agree that it’s worked out well for both clubs given that Man City’s recruitment is the best in the world. For most clubs, losing one of their best academy products would be a disaster but it’s clearly not for Man City, especially with FFP. In the long term though it’ll be very interesting to see how his career progresses, he looks an extremely talented player with the ability to play multiple positions, is creative, will score goals and has a great work ethic on the pitch
-
Fair enough, the game was class. One of those rare games where you wish it could have just kept going. The biggest talking point is Cole Palmer. How good is he going to be and is it the best bit of business Chelsea have done in years?
-
I think the issue is to do with affectation, he’s clearly written a ton of this stuff in private then says it as if it’s off the cuff stuff, and it’s always incredibly over the top saccharine shite. The problem is that he’s making the moment more about him in my opinion. He might have convinced himself that he’s doing it for the viewers but there’s a big part that’s about himself
-
Will be a great test for you, high on confidence. Should be a very good game
-
Well, most games I’d prefer us to play well, dominate the opposition physically, move the ball round quickly, press other teams into mistakes etc. However, in this game I don’t care if we’re absolute trash as long as we get three points
-
Once again, would take any win as long as it comes with no injuries. Don’t really want to draw against these sleazebags so I’d be disappointed with anything but a win. Saying that, got no idea what side we’ll be putting out
-
You know for sure that he came up with that cock in hand looking at himself in the mirror
