We are dependent on Cabella as our sole creative player so we should really get another in. Unlikely this will happen though. Maybe we'll revisit this in a year's time considering his contract ends 2016.

Cabaye was the most advanced of a midfield trio in his last half-season here so you could say Cabella is Cabaye's replacement as the central creative midfielder more than de Jong, whom Pardew believes to be a striker. Of course you can expect them to be switched around - de Jong as a second striker, main striker, Cabella as a AM or on the wings...

Bayern's already denied that. See it as more of a ploy to get Atletico to stump up the release fee. Navas isn't exactly going to think he will replace the world's best GK.
