A proven player who scores when played as a striker, and assists when played in a withdrawn role is pretty much an asset to any team. And you won't need to give him time to settle to a new league like a foreign striker would need to.

He's the Championship top scorer and anyone wanting him would have to pay around that fee to get him. Rhodes, whom Blackburn bought for 8m from League 1 would probably cost more than that. Zaha was sold for 15m. If you want the division's top players you will have to pay the asking price. To fans of a club like us, we should even care less about paying an extra couple millions if we actually get a player we need. Who else are you going to get for 10m that will guarantee you goals and a return to the massive tv deal?
