The club's emphasis is on a strong partnership with Wonga. Ashley won't back down over this issue unless Wonga tries to gain some publicity again. If that was a possible option by Wonga, they would have done it already instead of having their name continually dragged through the media. Can't see Cisse ending well on this. He'll either back down or be sold.

Reckon resistance to this player will fade as the weeks go by without a striker coming in. Of all the strikers we've been linked with, I think he least fits the system. With no signings and the possibility of Cisse leaving, I will gladly accept this less-than-ideal option especially with the alternative being Shola.

Unfortunately patches are here to stay.

They'll have designed it donkeys ago before Wonga announcement (wasn't there a mock photo with Virgin logo on?) and couldn't have been arsed t change it so just slapped big Wonga logo on. The Red Star Belgrade kit uses a template with no break in stripes though.

Was going to say the same. The top bit being white on the home kit is too harsh a contrast; makes it quite hideous. Once you see that he's wearing a baby's bib, you cannot unsee it.
