Fair enough. I only watched the end of the first half and the start of the second and it looked like we had some decent possesion but were toothless with it.

Feels like to beat us you play the low block and counter. Both Brighton and Liverpool were more than happy to give us time on the ball.

Our passing was off but we constantly pressed their 10 men and won the ball back, comfortably. For me it went to shit with the subs. Klopps worked, by putting Liverpool into full attack mode, and we just didn't adjust well to it. It really shouldn't have worked as well as it did though, it was such a transparent ploy. You could tell by Klopps reaction that he couldn't really believe what happened. At best he's hoping for an equaliser, but to win it?! It was freak result but one where we were most certainly the masters of our own downfall.

Volley was fucking sweet too. (Almiron)

Bruno was trying to create a last chance for us with that pass. If it had come off... Most other teams wouldn't have followed that block up with a defence splitting pass. Liverpool are just so good at those, or at least, they are against us. Losing to them feels like a fucking hex at this point.
