BBC news north east has told the people of Tyne and Wear not to be alarmed by the first ever suspected minor earth quak (scaled at a magnitude of 3.2) that took place on the afternoon of 2/11/2013 in Wearside. Although many scientists have speculated the earth quake could be a result of global warming and climate change, we have now come to the conclusion that it was most likely caused by Sunderland supporters crashing back down to earth after the sudden realization that they fluked a win against Newcastle and are still on course to claim back their former title of "worst team in premier league history" from Derby county. ;D ;D

Worst formatted post of the year. I didn't think it was that bad. I always try and keep the lines short because it irritating when you're on a mobile and it's stretched across the whole screen. Perhaps I should have made it into two or three paragraphs, but i just wanted to vent my frustrations. My sincerest apologies

When we lose we play bad, when we draw we play bad, even when we win we play bad! Pardew needs to buck his ideas up because when you look at the players at his disposal theirs no excuses why we can't string 3 passes together. So far this season we've been the worst footballing side in the league, it's only thanks to individual brilliance in Ba and Ben Arfa that we've picked up any points. I'm fed up drooling over the way teams that finished below us (with mediocre players) link up and create chances. Also we need to start playing corners short, we don't create any chances through crosses, Pardew has had enough time to work on set plays and yet there's no improvement, the best we can hope for is to play it short and keep possession. it's a sorry state of affairs when your deflated every time we win a corner because you know it means the opposition will undoubtedly regain possession.

I've just realised it's 12 years to the day since wor Shola the Makem slayer made his début against Chelsea. Time really does fly!

Pathetic c***, how can he ever be patronising about anyone. He's talking from the lowest possible place in the world. There's almost universal hatred for him I normally defend Barton to the hilt because he won me over in the end when playing for us, but he really is an antagonising little s***. Can't believe he said that on twitter, thank god he's no longer at our club.

I think by the end of the season he will be regarded as a world class player. Imagine the media wankfest if Hazard scored a goal like that! I still can't believe he's our player, I know the term "different class" is used too loosely but Hatem really is different class. Oh and I almost forgot it was on his weaker foot too!! If that's true it would be wise of us to improve his contract and also extend it. The likes of spurs and Liverpool would kill for a player like Ben Arfa and if (heaven forbid) we have a poor season we might just end up with another Jose Enrique situation. We should try and tie him down now while his morale's good as we should have done with Enrique when he was waxing lyrical and saying he would stop here for the rest of his career. If at all possible, we should certainly try to get Ben Arfa tied down for 5 years. That said, he's got 3 years left still so it's not like he's in the danger zone yet. Not unless I'm suffering from some form of schizophrenic amnesia that has gone undetected for 25 years I would love to see us buy Adam Johnson, our last two performances have proved we need more creativity. I hate to admit it but Gutierrez has completely lost his spark after being so defensive for the last two seasons. If we bought Johnson we could even play him on the right and give Ben Arfa a free role in attacking midfield, I can't see any defence coping with both of them.

Just realised 90% of the Ben Arfa compilation videos have suddenly been took down for copyright infringement Enjoyed them while they lasted anyway.

I think they got confused between Ben Arfa and Anita at the end. I noticed that too. Glad to see that classy little run up the wing by Anita again though, don't think they showed it on match of the day.

Even when he has a bad game he'l still do at least one bit of ridiculous skill or dribble past 3 players at ease. I guess you're right in that we should just enjoy it while he's here. I can't stop thinking of some of the goals he's going to set the place alight with this season I think if he does well for us in Europe he could raise the stature of our club to new highs. He's the sort of player kids will idolise and follow from all over not just Newcastle.

I just dread the day he inevitably leaves, I just cant imagine us ever being able to replace him. It was a complete fluke how he ended up here when he did. The only negative was his supposedly terrible attitude but he's been a saint the whole time he's been here. I wonder how far his talent can take him, his natural ability is as good as any player I've seen in the Premier League. I'd like to see him score more long range efforts, the space he creates when he shimmies and feints should able him to shoot more. I'd love it if he learned how knuckle a shot like juninho.

How would we finish 3rd if them and Man City were taken out of the equation? Nah you're right we would have finished 4th. But if Chelsea didn't have a sugar daddy they wouldn't have won the champs league so 4th would have got us a champs league place. It's all ifs and buts I suppose but clubs getting bankrolled the way Man City and Chelsea are will make it almost impossible for clubs like us to get in the champions league for the foreseeable future.

I tried to make a video of his every touch for the spurs game on Windows movie maker yesterday, but it was just too much hassle on the windows 7 version. There's someone on youtube who keeps updating a compilation video of HBA, but he plays hideous music like Black eyed peas and Rihanna over it. I would much prefer the original audio, the volume of the crowd whenever Ben Arfa receives the ball is almost embarrassing, but i love it If anyone can point me in the right direction for some good free software for doing football compilation videos I'd consider uploading his every game with the original audio and commentary.

He said he supported us in an interview after scoring past us with man city. If remember rightly he was asked by the reporter something like this "That goal must have meant allot for you, with you being a Sunderland supporter? Andy Johnson "Well actually I supported Newcastle growing up".

Apology excepted I just hate the thought of one of our players reading the form and seeing us refer to player like that, would make us look bad.

I can remember that being said too. Round about the same time their was a rumour that he was caught playing golf when he was supposed to be injured and that he would never play for us again. I find it hard to believe though because he's always seemed like a model pro throughout his career, i cant imagine him doing something as daft as that.

Absolutely no need for that mate, it's embarrassing when our own fans call our players stuff like that. Anyway I for one can't wait to see Marveaux on Thursday, by what I've saw of him so far he seems to keep possession better than most of our team. Hopefully either Ba or Cisse start too (although I doubt it), we've seen our team getting beat to often in the cups from lesser team in recent years, I wouldn't want to see us take to much of a risk by fielding a hugely weakened team.
