Good to see Bolton haven't suffered the same fate.

Was it you he batted off when asking if Ashley actually wanted to sell the club?

Brilliant reading

He's as small time as they come. The comment about shutting people up was horrendous. He's got a fuckin long way to go before he shuts anyone up, and to be honest at this point in his career I doubt he ever will. Just concentrate on the positives and keep your head down you fuckin yeti.

Thought that myself earlier, think it's due to it being Saturday and I didn't give a fuck aboot any football being played today. Thanks Mike.

Disagree with this like. Aye people who stayed away 100% did the right thing, no denying it but the amount of people who done it is the only way to judge it. I think it failed. For me a successful boycott would have left no debate about the attendance etc, clearly visible masses of empty seats that get a lot of attention in the media. But nah, a few largely unseen empty seats, questionable photos of empty seats in the east stand with the time cut off clearly when people are heading to the concourse can't be classed as successful imo. Hopefully it does grow, but can't see it considering arsenal was well publicised and the place was still full. Ummm, 10k short is not full. Ummm, as far as I can see 10k short is made up.

How does he not get it? Match day income is worth about what? 10%? It means the buyer has leverage over the seller. If we stop going we become worth more to the buyer than the seller. Therefore handing them the advantage. 'unless there's a buyer' Some people really are thick enough to believe there's never been legit buyers aren't they?
-
How could we possibly compete against the mighty Norwich? Inquests now too? Should have stuck with the back to basics and saved the inquest for next week's drubbing, halcyon days indeed. As if this is real He's literally undone the last 3 years in 2 games.
-
All they would have needed to know is, 'if I do OK will you let me move to a proper club?'.
-
I for one am shocked. SHOCKED!
-
Most of them aren't shit though. A decent manager will show that. Steve Bruce showed with his 'what the fuck is happening' outburst that he is absolutely clueless. I said a while back that it won't take long for people to start claiming the players are shit, especially our defence.

Let's be honest, none of the Ashley supporters are going to admit he's shit just yet...'but but but Rafa had a shit start to the season last year'. There's been people on here even question how we know what to expect from Bruce. The media will keep pointing to last seasons poor start, judge him after a season/at christmas etc etc. He's absolutely clueless, and the people still going to SJP deserve him/Mike.

Fucking outrageous and people still think he's not behind all the bullshit the club throws out. Wouldn't surprise me if he wrote charnleys notes in the programme. Think literally everyone knows he's behind the bullshit PR that is put out.
-
I didn't make that up myself. In that interview with the Daily Mail, Ashley said that the Rafa camp were asking for a one year extension, but he wanted to sign Rafa long-term. Presumably the one year extension was to give Rafa time to see what was happening with a takeover. 'Ashley said.....' Seriously...what makes you believe anything he says? Even if it's true he asked for a 1 year extention, it would tie in with what he's saying about not trusting them. He wanted to see if they came through on any of their promises this time without being tied down to another long term contract of bullshit. Howay man.

It's what I thought tbh.
-
Wonder what time those photos above were taken. Seems to be a lot of people walking around.
-
Aye. Regardless of what the actual attendance was... For a well publicised and planned boycott it's a pretty poor effort from the match goers. Can't say I expected it to go any better. Too many zombies.
-
not sure about case closed, but aye, good sign.
-
Just didn't look it on screen, obviously you don't see all areas of the pitch but if it was 10k short of capacity I'd still expect to have seen more empty seats. I don't agree with a lot of what shadow puppet says, but he's right, just sounds like they're trying to make it sound more successful than it was.
-
I don't believe it was 42k like. No way.

Give him a chance, man.

imagine being this much of a hypocrite Jesus.

How can something be predictable when it doesn't precede anything though? After 18 games if the same mistakes that cost us today are happening, then yes, predictable, but after the first game? I'm not sure that makes much sense. Fwiw there was some promising signs in the first half today in our play and a few players in particular caught the eye. I'll choose to not plummet into abject misery just yet. It's predictable because Bruce isn't a brand new manager to the league and most people knew what level to expect from the minute he arrived. The promising signs in the first half, were before he changed anything.
