I cancelled a year ago due to job circumstances and my wife got a discounted NYT subscription. The Athletic is still hitting me with deals like "resubscribe for only $1.50 a month!"

Just been offered £1 a month for a year after cancelling a while back.

    Why not.

I got a ticket from a mate of a mate earlier in the season in the safe standing trial area of the upper leazes for Brentford. It’s just normal seats with a rail placed in front to lean on. I don’t think it will change capacity in any way, will be the exact same seats as there are now, just with a rail in front of them.

That's my expectation but I do wonder about space, they're crammed in anyway so adding a barrier behind the seat in front of you is going to be a struggle you'd think.

My knees are touching the seat in front of me as it is, not a lot of wiggle room.

  3. Tbf 'convert' was just the term I used to reference changing from seating to safe standing

Assumed all that would happen would be the barrier type thing gets added in front of the current seats, but not sure there's even leg room for that. No pics of how they have done the away end?

He needs to be vigilant with his letterbox, the mag-finder general can smell mag flesh from a mile off.

After reading that all that I can picture is a Uruk Hai saying 'mag flesh'.

Certainly seemed to have a go against Liverpool. But that was kind of nothing to lose and everything went through him.

Think i misinterpreted your first post.

My post about it going on longer than 2 games is about him being reluctant to go direct at the full backs these days, much prefers to pull it back than take his man on.

You know he'll only get flack if he loses it needlessly. More of the flack is for standing waving his arms about, berating the ref as he was simply muscled off the ball as the opposition break on us.

Not about to get into this debate, so I'll just say I disagree and bow out.

The last two games now. He has seemed reluctant/incapable of fully opening up down the line.

Been banging this drum for a while, it's not just the last 2 games.

It seems he lost any confidence he had to run directly at the opposition, not surprising given the flack he recieves of he loses it.

I've heard this view expressed often but never seen him lie at all about injuries.

It's felt like he's understated them a few times, he has never said someone is injured if they weren't

But hey, Maxi had a quiet first half, Eddie said he has a slight hamstring issue, so that must mean Maxi couldn't be arsed and Eddie's lying.

What’s up with the Sheff Wed fans in every single Twitter post about the match? Talking about it being “unsafe”. You’d think out of any fan base they’d know the dangers of a crush in a ground, truly bizarre behavior

We only highlighted the their unsafe away end as we got beat.

Can't believe our horrendous regime have tried to avoid future injury (or even worse) to visiting fans, disgusting behaviour by all involved.
