yes we did as we never looked as good as we did the season before. Didn't they get about 50 goals between them that season? Keegan leaving in January probably didn't help either.

What's your point? Tactic banter melts my brain. It was a lot simpler before the internet.
-
Did we have all this over analysing tactics stuff when Ferdinand and Shearer were upfront together?

He's not that good with the press imo. He contradicts himself a few times there which suggests there is a public target and an in-house target. Top 6 should be the aim. There's very few teams outside the top 6 who can realistically challenge for it and we have/will have a better squad than probably 14 or 15 teams.

The other side to that argument would be to say you've hardly seen them in first team action. They're a fairly unknown quantity at present and Vuckic, in particular, looked mega when he started against WBA. Seeing them get more time is one of the things I'm looking forward to most next season. I was there for that game and believe me he was not mega. 2 shots from distance, one that rattled the bar was about his contribution. Leggy and outplayed by WBAs midfield for the majority of the game Lots of work to do imo Disagree about his performance in that game, obviously. For one of his first starts in professional football you're being too harsh. Actually being on the pitch will help his development. He'll learn nothing by being injured or in the reserves. Agree to disagree Jack Even at Cardiff he was in and out. If he's not making an impact at Cardiff on a regular basis at 20 i dont think hes good enough for premier league. Thats just my opinion. Technically good, yeah, but dosnt have the mobility for the premiership, and at 20, thats not something thats going to improve He was at Cardiff for 1 month, played 5 games and scored 1. Their manager wanted him back but we wouldn't allow it due to injuries. Attacking midfielders don't need to be mobile if they can use the ball well enough, which IS something he'll learn.

He nearly scored twice from outside the box and played a great through ball. He impressed everyone in the ground that day. He's only 19, has had a few long injuries and is trying to get into a team that's doing really well so he couldn't have played THAT much, even if he is supremely talented. Did well at Cardiff also, I believe?

Pardew starting his summer "I don't know" cliché game. Last summer was hell for this kind of thing.

Plus Beardsley perfectly complimented what we had at the time, which is why we bought him. Carroll would only confuse the issue. -

Why would MA/DL ask for a percentage of future profit? How much did they think he'll go for in the future? -
Think it's even worse when the season starts. Mayans pls

People typing out formations and discussing them in great detail. It's unbelievably shit. August 18th pls

You can't have possibly watched Brazil play. Stop lying. (Please stop biting, it was only a joke)

We've got a large pool of players now who are very likable and they got us 5th. There's simply far too many negatives for Carroll to come back now.
-
p*ss off man. Brazil were on ESPN both times, hardly had to go out of my way. easy, tiger.
-
And? Wouldn't be so "and?" if he got the penalty and Krul went off I imagine? It perfectly sums up why he shouldn't play for us again. I could drag up some quotes about how he loves us and is one of us etc but why bother now? He's chosen his path, let him continue down it.

It's concerning how much weight he may have put on whilst out. He does have a tendency to pork up. There's a recent video on .co.uk about his recovery which shows he's in the shape of his life. He said he's been on a diet and is doing very well with it.

"40 games fir £40....That's £1 pir game..."

He's soooo much more likeable/effective when he's hardly on the pitch. If he somehow went back to starting games the charity would soon run out again.
