  1. Chicken dancer is lying!

Yup fake news. Weird really but that's the way it is on here nowadays.

Got absolutely no reason to lie. If you sit in the Gallowgate and you think it wasn’t 75% full (if not less) then you’re wrong. Loved the game today but it pissed me off. But who the fuck cares what I think.

First it was half empty. Now a quarter. See why you’re getting all the #fakenews responses?

Aye mate. I’m pissed. Apologies that I don’t know the exact percentage of how full St James Park was at full time. However I was pissed off at how many people left before full time.

  2. Pissed me off today how empty the ground was at full time. Maybe I’m a traditionalist but clap the team off ffs. Was about half full on 90 mins. Fair enough if it was a midweek game but I’m sure staying an extra 5 minutes to clap the players wouldn’t have hurt.

    Wait what!?

Fucking hell. :anguish:  Where to go with our fans, man.

Honestly my entire row bar about 3/4 was empty at about 88 minutes. There was a break in play and everyone seemed to just leave. Really pissed me off.

  3. So Cardiff are set to being in two forwards ahead of Saturday - one on loan who cost his club £13.5m and another permanently for £20m whilst we do absolutely nothing! Cheers Mike - fat w*****!

    Stop going then paully. Simple

As I've said before, I'd hate to lose all of my loyalty points as I know fine well the sale would go through a few weeks later! It's bollocks how they're completely wiped if you don't renew!

 how long you been using this logic?

Paully[/member] there never has been or never will be a sale, its time to wrap it now like especially when your hero Rafael goes

I completely see where Paully is coming from. Naturally we won’t be sold forever but Paully probably has about 500 loyalty points . It’s easy to see why it’s hard to give it up IMO. Not as easy as it is for some.

  4. Has the £10-15m not done that? ???

I was fantasising on my break today whether the £8.2m in tonight’s lotto would be enough to retire and I’m still not sure. Was thinking at least £20m on the Euros would be needed just to make sure.

Eh  It would almost certainly be enough to retire and live comfortably forever! I’d retire with £2m I think.

  5. Not sure how anyone could want that cheating fraud of a club to win.

I know too many gloryhunter Liverpool fans from up here

Basically this. Hate everything Man City are but find Pep and a lot of their players relatively likeable. Can’t stand the media love in for Liverpool and this coupled with the amount of Liverpool fans I know from round here makes Man City the only realistic alternative.

  6. The only thing you can say against Rafa imo is that he knew (or should have had an idea) what Ashley was all about before he decided to come here.

Probably, but more than likely he was sold a lie, considering the shithouse before him got £80m+ to spend.

  7. From a neutral point of view I think it would be depressing as f*** if Pochettino went to Man Utd. Spurs legitimately have the potential to become one of the top sides in Europe. If they won the league in two or three or four years time, it would be a tremendous example of building something special. It would obviously take a massive effort, and quite a bit of patience, but the infrastructure appears to be there and they're already a brilliant team. To leave that just for the sake of a bash at bringing ManU back to the top? Yawn. He's still such a young manager too, don't see why he'd be in a mad rush to get the alleged 'top job'.

 Beyond money I can't see any reason to choose Man United over Spurs in 2018. One club's going backwards and the other's overtaking them on and off the pitch.

I wouldn’t if I was Poch, but I’d wager he will. As much as many hate to admit it, they’re still the biggest club in England and arguably the world. Liverpool’s squad when Klopp arrived compared to now is testament to what the right investment can do. It won’t happen overnight but I reckon if he goes they’ll be challenging for titles again within 2 years. He’s a fantastic manager and does tick the (cliched) box of what Manchester United have been about for years (obviously ignoring the shambles of the last 4/5).

  8. De Gea is comfortably the best keeper in the league. Like the rest of Man Utd’s squad, low on form and confidence. He’s the best in the world.

I don't think he is anymore. The position is much more than it used to be and although I'd say he's the best shot-stopper in the world, that's as far as it goes.

Just different opinions really. These ball-playing goalkeepers are fashionable at the moment but even then, I’d have Ederson over Alisson. Admittedly Alisson starts for Brazil (to my knowledge) but based on what I’ve seen I prefer Ederson.

  9. Can’t stand Klopp to be honest. Charasmatic yes, cringeking yes. Everything he does is for the cameras. If they win the league we won’t hear the end of it for years.

Regarding City, couldn’t stand them until Pep to be honest. Love the way they play.

  10. Out of interest, does anybod fancy Liverpool for the league? Riding their luck and have not yet played as well as we know they can, whereas Man City are top minus De Bruyne. Suppose a lot will depend on the Champions League. Liverpool may write off Europa if they don’t beat Napoli.

  11. I fucking hate them and couldn’t even begin to imagine the wankfest if they won it. Hoping they get Real Madrid next and Ronaldo bums them back into their attention seeking, murdering holes.

Great to watch though. I actually fancy them to win it, or at least get to the final. They have nobody to fear.
