Jesus, tin of worms or what? Does that mean the good football that Liverpool, Arsenal and teams like Southampton play isn't down to their managers then. Must be the players like Yes partly due to managers but when the game is on it is the players who will do the job and ours don't have the brains to do the basics. Don't tell me about loosing Cabaye. We would never had won with 10 Capayes today. The players looked like they were playing a friendly game in a park on a Sunday. Pathetic... I know Pardew's first sub was spot on because I thought about it myself and it came early in the 2nd half which is unusual for him but really good one. HBA made a big difference in terms of controlling the game and keeping position. I thought the 2nd sub could have been Cisse instead of Ameobi but even Ameobi did well. The tactics of having Tiote, Anita and Cabaye in the middle of the park against weak Man U midfield was a great move and worked brilliantly.

Bit difficult to bring on HBA or Cisse like. I should also add: 5. Thanks to Howard f***ing Webb we were denied 2 panalties.

A number of issues that contributed to this horrible result: 1. The team looked lethargic and many of the players were 2nd best. Shola, Cabaye, Sissoko, Santon, Colo and Krul were below par. 2. Missed golden chances to score the first goal although the Swansea keeper made a world class save. We could also have scored if Ameobi had taken that chance. 3. Wrong subs. You don't bring on Obertan when the team is 2 goals behind. Yes I think it was right to sub Shola but his replacement should have been Cisse or HBA. 4. Two poor goals conceded mainly due to errors by Krul.

Why wasn't marveaux not brought in instead ? Or HBA ? Obertan is only useful when we are winning and wanting to wind the clock down.

You would be the first one to shower pardiola with grief if it was him saying these words rather than Martinez. Anything Pardew says you will always find something to moan about.

He is a shadow of his first 6 months here. What happened to him ? We can't just rely on Remu. We must get at least another forward this Jan.

As much as I live Hatem he can be a liability. He should have probably come in instead of Obertan but we probably wouldn't have scored the second goal.

Debuchy was amazing today same as Anita. Also special mentioned to MYM and Williamsons. Gouffran was great too so was Tiote and Cabaye in the centre. Even Shola wasn't bad either. In fact the whole team was great.
