We were playing Fulham, a team who has been out of form for weeks and we still couldn't get anything from the game. He's got to be in a worse position when added to his pathetic outburst from earlier today. We should have got something out of the game though. We didn't obviously, but that was down to a deflected shot, giving away a soft freekick and a bit of bad luck hitting the woodwork multiple times. Obviously his position will be worse now because of a defeat, but I don't think he showed anything that should make the fans dislike him any more. we should get something out of a lot of games, the fact is.... we don't.

it really has gone beyond, who should play where and what formations. I'm convinced a few games back that is the case. And the players have lost the confidence of their manager, it's the only explanation why the majority of the team fails to even complete the basics of the game. In the back of their heads every game they play its saying... "That man in our dugout really shouldn't be there"

I think boarding up the training ground is perhaps one of the worst excuses a manager can use in the history of the game, Not even JFK could even dream of using that one. I mean all our attacks comes from either long balls or crosses (open play and set plays). It's been happening for a full season and half now, I really don't think opposition's managers needs to know anything else to figure out what we are doing in our training sessions. I mean what kind of message goes through a players head when he see's his manager resort to such feeble excuse. "hmmm wow im playing in a training ground today with our manager who just instructed some strange men to come along with hammers and nails to put wooden boards up all around ...wow our manager is desperate!"

I think the main problem is shoe horning Cisse in on right, he in no way can play anywhere but up top but Pardew insists on playing both of them, much better throwing Marveux out left and Ben Arfa there. It's the most baffling thing to put this square peg in a round hole, Cisse does not have the touch, dribbling or pace to play wide. It's just not his game strange Pardew tried to shoe horn all strikers out wide. Leon Best, Shola, Ba, that is what he does. Because he's obsessed with set plays! The more tall strikers you have in the starting line-up the more chances of set plays and hoofs landing on a nufc player, in theory that is, except it doesn't f***ing work during open play never mind set play.

Now I hope people can shut up about playing 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 again we tried it today for the first half, with only one man up top in Ba we try to hoof it to him. No matter what formation, Pardew will not cut out hoofs.

We did try to get at them, sadly in Pardew's book hoofing is the best way to get at the oppositions.

It's because we're so s***, every little detail of things that are less s*** gets highlighted as the "good moments". We have no clue and it's not gonna change. anyone thinks we controlled the 2nd half needs to get real, we had about 20 min max of good passage of play in the 2nd half, and thats 20 mins in an entire 90 minutes match. that is unacceptable.

He actually had one of his better games today tbf, he at least put the effort in from purely a defensive point of view, without simpson today we would have got absolutely destroyed. That's what it has come to now.

Hitting the bar, hitting the crossbar, getting a header cleared off the line.. controlling the game almost completely the whole 2nd half - conceding a goal against the run of play.
