  1. As much as I can't stand this guy, Williamson is a priority of getting rid, followed by a close second in Simpson.
  2. Lets see, bettering his career, pay rise, London, a manager that isn't Pardew, genuine chance of champs league football next season, huge sign on fee, bigger club, better players, a manager that actually won things, not far from title challenge . List goes on Can we blame him? No.
  3. Better striker than Torres for the past two years. Don't see why people assume he will not play. http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01514/Roman-Abramovich_1514495c.jpg Your point being they can afford any striker in the world? Whilst that is true I think people underestimate Ba. He's proven to be one of the very best strikers in the Premiership over the course of the last two seasons, especially first half of last season and this. Playing in a better team that create loads more chances, I wouldn't be surprised if he gave Van Persie a run for his money for Premiership top goalscorer. My point being he will want Torres playing. Ah, that's fair enough then. I feel Ba has enough quality to displace Torres from the first team though. He will just have to prove himself all over again, which I guess is part of the attraction as far as he is concerned. Chelsea don't need Ba as an out and out striker as much as we did though as they have goals all over the pitch. Torres has started scoring recently though no where near as prolific as Ba. Even so Torres offers more than Ba in terms of overall play and he generally contributes a lot at times having major impact on games that he doesn't score in. It's more probable that Ba will offer goals off the bench when Chelsea are struggling to get past stubborn defences like Stoke. Something you need in all title-winning sides. Again I think that is an underestimation of Ba. He's a much better, more allround footballer than some people on here give him credit for. He's clueless , you just have to watch him especially with his back to goal, even if he's on the halfway line 95 percent of the time will always decide to try and spin his marker and run towards goal and ultimately run into a brick wall then fall on his ass.
  4. I never mentioned what Pardew would or wouldn't do, I was on about what would have been best for us. Yeh well yet again another moot point, doesn't matter if you mentioned him or not since when did Pardew or the chairman did what was best for us? Ultimately it's Pardew who decides where Ba plays. Unless you think he's going to be sacked soon and all of sudden we will have a new manager tommrow who will make use and keep both Ba and Cisse in the team and the power to refuse to sell certain players. Not likely is it?
  5. If he's here and playing out wide he can come back inside if Cisse is injured, if he goes we're relying on a donkey, even if only as cover. Ifs buts and when, we all know lily livered Pardew is not ever going to play him out wide again so thats a moot point. Unless your undeniable faith in Pardews ability has changed all of a sudden lol
  6. He should have been and would have scored just as many I reckon Lol yeh sure
  7. Oh yeh now that he's leaving you are all going on about how we depend on his goals, yet these are the same people who keep banging on about him should be playing out wide.
  8. Shocking as it may seem but I can see a some positives with Ba leaving.
  9. ATM yes, but Ba's overall play on the ball and distribution of the ball has always been shocking, Cisse will find his feet no doubt again and he's far more intelligent and skilful on the ball and far more suited as a lone striker.
  10. I don't know why people hold this against Demba. We could have given him an improved contract if we wanted to but clearly other clubs can pay a lot more than us. At least we'll get something back from it and we've had one and a half magic seasons from him. Good luck to him I say. I'm not holding it against him, it's not like he can stop us or the media from talking about his clause, like I said its best for all parties, that includes us that he leaves under the current circumstances. I can't wait to see Cisse back in the centre to be honest, he deserves to play there.
  11. Can't be doing with every 5 months we got to talk about his clause, not good for the team or club, if he's not willing to sign a new contract without release clause then it's for the best for all parties that he fucks off.
  12. Don't be daft, Ba's agent would had let just about every Club known about the clause beforehand anyway, besides it was Karen Brady who let it out in the public domain first.
  13. I'm going to have to jack myself off now, sorry about the mess lads. :fwap:
  14. Players were disenchanted soon as silver fox told them no more attack, after we just equalised 3-3 We had our tails up, last thing our players wanted was go back into the turtle shell. Bet Pardew just got an SMS message from fergie and got trolled again.
  15. See what Cisse did there shielding the ball and winning it then playing it to obertan, Ba can never do that even in his dreams
  16. Score line looking shocking for us now lol We going to be in even more dire straights if it don't change soon, fuck me this is not looking good
  17. they keyword i used is "some" for the ones that want to fall into that category, feel free lol
  18. I remember people on here had a go at me and didn't understand why i hated man utd so much that i even wanted them to be smashed by Barca at the champions league final. Well now you know why. They have always been c***s. Just shocked that some on here only started to realize.
  19. Don;t want go against the grain but I thought if anyone was below par it was Ba last night. Can't knocked the boy for his hard work but he is absolutely useless in procession of the ball. Great off the ball, getting on the end of things.
  20. just like canal said we already agreed with Remy, i call bullshit arsenal still got arshavin on huge wages, then there is also chamakh and gervinho on their books who they cant get rid of for love or money.
  21. 'no matter what he does, he'll always get stick' Yet currently over half say they're losing, or never had any faith in him...go figure. They're losing faith in him because we're playing s**** with results to match. Rocket science. Exactly right - and you have to add to that those who reserved judgement on him because of his past record at other clubs. He tailed off with them and the same thing seems to be happening with us - their supporters would probably have given similar poll ratings after the same time periods with their clubs. In believe the worrying thing is not just the fans for Pardew, it's also the players that have lost faith in him. Shit I mean If the fans from that far out can see the ineptitude of his management and the mistakes he's making then imagine how clear it is for the players who has to work with him everyday at first hand. Disturbing.
  22. I blocked a ball on the line with my head once, just threw my head at it from 5 yards away, blasted it the fella. I ended A&E with a concussion later. My head felt like it was going to split. that must be how Bernard felt.. I didn't feel a thing at the time, i just carried on but as the afternoon wore on after the game, i got a mental headache and started throwing up, got took to A&E and found i had a mild concussion. I guess my advantage was i saw the ball would be coming and had time to flinch when i blocked the shot. You must have a strong head, but soft brain.
