  1. looks like 4-2-3-1 /4-5-1 Cisse played out wide again. Jonas left midfield, Cisse Right midfield, Arfa in the middle. Anita and Tiote behind them.
  2. been trawling through a west ham forum found a thread called Allaydyce vs Pardew found some interesting and disturbing posts. "Well North Bank I genuinely believe he is very overated. My personal opinion of Pardew the man..and this is having had dealings with him whilst manager at West Ham....has no bearings on what I think of his managerial ability. He is good at going into clubs and getting some kind of reaction from the players,so he obviously has something that people see in him when it comes to employing him. However people go on about him on here like we were playing this wonderful free flowing entertaining footabll during his tenure. He got lucky getting us in to the premiership, noone can deny that as we sneaked into the play off finals beacuse Reading screwed up at home to Wolves. We had a good season that first year back in the premiership, granted but beyond that look at the dross we played next year. He wouldn't play Tevez or his mate and chose Hayden Mullins every week! I genuinely believe his bubble will burst again at Newcastle and before loong the Geordies will be on his back. Ver y few people you speak to in football, particularly from his Palace days likie the guy and this is not heresay this is fact from players I know who played with him. This has been carried over into his management days and whilst you can argue you don't have to be liked by everyone it says a lot when his peers profess their dislike for him, which in itslef is surprising how he got those managers awards lkast season! I appreciate it all about opinions but I find the man the sort of individual who you wouldn't trust and is liable to dissapoint and let you down in the moment of a crisis. I also find it very hard to stomach him passing judgment on the moral issues of his his palyers behaviour when we all no what a sleaze ball of a man he is when it comes to family affairs don't we? But hey,all about opinions, maybe i'm in the majority." "But my over riding memory of him was that he was one arrogant c*** of a man who's ego got the better of him and completely lost the dressing room which so nearly cost us premiership football. He might think and say he loves West Ham but it's another Pardew soundbite which cuts little or no ice with me. I'm glad I don't have to listen to the mans babble every week and he is no longer manager of this club. It won't be long before Pardew hits the buffers at Newcastle as well and will be shown up for what he really is....a total c*** of a man."
  3. Pardew absolutely love Willo, because he is a stats man. Pard feels he needs at least one very taller defender in the back four and that is usually Willo as Saylor is always injured. Hence the constant poorly contrived set-plays, floating ball to Willo's head. So predictable Pardew is.
  4. we would all love that to happen.. but that would make far too much sense for Pardew... so it won't happen.
  5. Perchy in. no more Willo hoofs and dropping clangers every game. He's starting to worry me in the same ways like the days of Bramble, you're just waiting for that obligatory clanger to be dropped each game by the player, just don't know at what minute of the game it will happen. And if he does happen to have a good game, you just wished he made that clanger early on, so we don't concede one late on like a eqializer or a winning goal by the opposition because of his inevitable cock up. Bramble was an infinitely better player for us. really? Willo that bad? I remember Bramble hoofed it a lot as well.

  7. i dont think we can have ago at the players too much versus Bordeaux, they didn't have a set mentality going in this unimportant game from the manager. Was going to come on here after the Wigan game to say people needed to calm down about Marveaux but didn't want to tempt fate. He's still got a long way to go before he can be trusted out on the wings. In middle he can get away with it with some games. He didnt look too clever in the middle tonight, but neither did anyone in the team.
  8. Rubbish. The most impressive part of his game on Monday was getting through tight gaps/situations and being able to keep the ball/create something. yeh against 10 men Wigan. Not exactly known for their tough tackling and tanacity.
  9. he's not ready for the prem yet, he needs time and space on the ball, wigan gave him that as they went down to 10 men. he needs to two defensive midfielders behind him to do the donkey work so he can express himself like vs Wigan, he is certainly not ready to play on the wings. I do have hopes for him though.
  10. exactly, its the basics, stop square pegs in round holes, get some basic passing going on, something that has even a slight semblance of a football team. i hear people moaning about the pitch, omg the opposition didn't have much trouble with it.
  11. Revert to type, thats all he does, and his obsession with shoe-horning two lanky strikers in a line-up when he finally decides to play 4-5-1/4-3-3 formations. i.e tonight again, Shola and Ranger. before that, Cisse, Best, Ba, Shola being play outwide..,. why the f*** does he keep doing that? Would Bobby play, shearer, kluivert, Cort, Ferguson, or any big type of strikers out on the wings? Would Keegan play, Shearer, Ferdinand, or Cole out wide??? No. To be fair, when Keegan and Bobby needed wide players they were bought. granted we havent got great wide players but the current ones still beats having to put the strikers Pards insist on shoe horning them in. Whats the point of playing 4-5-1/4-3-3 if you're going to stick strikers out wide who arent suited to play there?
  12. frustration of the manager that reverts to type, meaning this guy is not ever going to change.

  14. didnt expect to win tonight but thought Pards would atleast let the players express themselves , they don't look like they're enjoying it out there not from the first whistle
  15. why didnt Pardew bring over the Xisco kid, we got enough space on the bench? is he injured again?
  16. i can't stop noticing and be impressed by that little drawing of a beer at the bottom right corner of the screen on ESPN broadcast, thats quality like.
  17. i think Willo know's himself that he shouldnt really be a footballer.
  18. Colo has quality hoofs thats why. what him get instructions from Pards, hoof it as much as possible.
  19. Injured for the first half of last season when we were unbeaten and rarely conceding
