I doubt 90% of the squad does ( and that is being nice) and they probably don't care. Bunch of money grabbing twats from top to bottom and that includes the fans.

This is my biggest problem above everything, perhaps if there was the kids wouldn't look so lost and out of place and thus when they are brought in results would be easier to come by. At the end of all of that actually continue their development instead of looking like they are hitting a brickwall. It's a crying shame. It's laughable that one of the things these two charlatans said they were going to do was to bring through young players - the "Arsenal" model (snigger). Having sad that, it's not a problem that they didn't inherit. When was the last time NUFC produced a midfielder capable of performing to a reasonable standard at Premier League level? Lee Clark? Carroll's the one real success story in about twenty years and, good as he can be, he's the most one dimensional player you've ever seen. Sums up our attitude to coaching really - big and strong at 12? You're in. The thing about that idea of following the Arsenal model you actually need a good manager who understands the importance of team building, youth development among other things like Wenger does, not to mention the amount of coaches and scouts Arsenal have set up all over the world. Something obviously Ashley and his chronies obviously missed.... I agree it's been an issue for a very long time but i feel the difference is for the longest time it wasn't paid attention to and now it is but they are going about it all wrong. Just scouting players will never be enough the system needs to be in place and they have to be coached properly. If we look at the likes of Vuckic and Abeid the older they get the worse they seem to look and that has to be down to the club not having a club how to develop and coach these players. Everything from top to bottom looks clueless at the moment.

While that's true we are led by a clueless moron, the only hope we have is the players take upon themselves to ignore the manager and coach themselves.

I'm probably going to be saying this a lot in the future but it looks like Ronaldo was right. Fair play

I think that rumor came from that shit independent article where they assumed they could offer 100k so they would They probably would offer that tbf but i don't think there's anything so far to suggest that they have or will.
-
We would probably offer about the same then tbh. Thing is ever since this rumor surfaced i keep hearing that he was very angry that OM blocked a summer move and is just desperate to play. Obviously we can offer that and you would think the french contingent would help him settle in. Just get it done Mike, no messing about we need to stay up and quite frankly saving a few pennies just to get relegated doesn't even make economic sense.

Norwich City vs Newcastle United - 12/01/13 @ 3pm (not on TV)

A good thing imo, as long as he's used properly. Since he's been out, teams have been able to dribble a bowling ball through our midfield without any pressure. Nobody's working as hard as he does or tracking the opposition like he does. I'd find a place for him in a central three. I still think he's good in a central 3 and without Tiote out it's a no brainer for me. -
Gonna go round and leaving a steaming shitbag on his doorstep and then egg him all the way back to London.
-
Not being funny or anything but Wenger's a f*cking mong http://i0.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/006/482/template.jpg

That's the thing it doesn't even make economical sense to not do it

Aye this defensive putrid shit is not taking us anywhere might as well learn a bit from KK and put teams on the back foot. Pards will never do that though the f*cking clueless twat.

Amazes me we still have people defending him. He's basically saying every week that he has no idea what he's doing any more. It's obvious to see why we did so well last season results wise, the man relies on individuals and without them he's clueless. He needs players like Cabaye, Colo etc etc on the pitch every week other wise he can't get results as his whole idealogy is based around individuals. When Santon said in the past that Pardew reminds him of Mourinho i'm beginning to understand what he meant..... it's the whole idea of individuals except Mourinho is so much better in every area possible but he does have a similar philosophy that its about individuals over team like say Guardiola is. We will never go anywhere fast with Pardew at the helm and i'm confident our policy can ( when done right) make crap managers look good so if by some miracle we could get a good manager then we should go far with the players we acquire. Shame i doubt it will ever happen. Aye, we'd be just fine playing the "individuals over ideology" game if our individuals included Ronaldo, Alonso, Ozil, Modric, and Benzema. Aye that's the thing which is something Pardew doesn't seem to understand or maybe even want to understand. We need a manager who prioritises team work over the individual, not only would it make the difference between kids stepping up a lot smaller but it would also give our better players the platform to perform. While we have a manager who prioritises individual over team we will go nowhere fast.

Yeah i did ramble on a bit

Remember when he said he learnt a lot watching spain? i'd love to know what it was
-
Think that role suits Kagawa tbh, Rafael not so much.
-
Tav is better at CB IMO but he is nowhere near ready in any position and if we don't buy a CB we are a f*cking joke.
-
What i said in Pardew thread, we wouldn't have much of an issue if this happened but considering Pardew is a clueless nutjob fat chance of that happening and we are pretty f*cked under him unless the individuals in the squad come good.

Good.

I was about to mention how that made it obvious that defence is our problem, and we've only failed to score in 2 of our last 12 in the league. Then I remembered our top scorer is gone. Said this a few times but the reason for that is because we are so rigid and defensive that only Ba got in goalscoring positions consistently. If we played like we did against Man Utd and Arsenal ( but actually defended properly) we wouldn't have any problems scoring goals with or without Ba because players actually got into decent positions in those games. That's the crux of the problem and honestly if Pardew can't do something about it we won't improve.... We will probably stay up if we can get the quality individuals back but we will never be where we were last season and eventually our best players will leave and then relegation if not this season will almost certainly happen in the future.
-
Nah too many points to make up he might get them 2nd though. It's still early days. Bigger deficits have been made up in far fewer games. While that's true i can't see Man Utd dropping enough points while RVP is fit. Great player though i still think we will be better for it in the long run but Ashley has to be do the right thing for once.
