    Papiss Cissé

Sissoko and Cisse out and Carver in would be completely horrendous.

that article is absolutely depressing also.

Let's not sell our top scorer please.
  4. Finish of it for me if we appoint Carver like. Nee f***ing point anymore.
  5. Cheapstake club keeps the Wolves supporting monkey. Imagine if this breaks down coz we won't pay for his preferred backroom staff man.
  6. Serious club pays Lyon to get the staff. Simple.
  7. Fucking mess imo. Carver wins vs Southampton and he's got the job.
  8. It's possible imo. Also if he does get appointed the depression will be palpable in the stands. If Newcastle are deadly serious about getting Garde in as manager, they could do it this week, simple as that. Convince the man to join now, make it impossible to refuse. The sceptic in me reckons this delaying and seemingly half arsed approach will see us with Carver.
  9. 'erm Mike, he wants his own backroom staff in' 'next....' Not saying it's true but Northern Echo said the other day that he'll be allowed to bring in his own staff while the board deal with transfers. Aye, Maybe whats holding this whole thing up.

  11. Ryder would have Lee Clark managing us. A team full of foreigners, players who need guidance.... and he'd be happy as long as it's a Geordie.
  12. They will give Carver the job if he beats Southampton.
  13. Unless we're talking to others? Doubt it tbh. The club are mulling over gambling with Carver for the sake of money or hire Garde. imo anyway.
  14. Rather excited at the prospect of us getting him. Club need to get it done.
  15. Get Garde in. There could be a few clubs in for De Boer in the summer so our chances may be slim, that's if we even are serious about approaching him. If there's a chance of a competent manager now who wants to come then it'd be brainless to refuse it.
  16. I think the club are dragging it out as long as poss hoping that Carver will win a game at some point, their eyes will on the home game vs Southampton. If he somehow gets a win there then imo for the sake of spending they will appoint him till the summer. The longer he doesn't win the more pressure they are under to appoint someone new. All the articles saying the club don't want to rush are rubbish sadly, it boils down to money again. They could appoint a decent coach tomorrow if they wanted to.
  17. He's had 2 games and his team has been booed off twice, and it already looks like he's cracking up. Not the man to take NUFC forward and thats clear.
  18. They'll appoint Carver and tell him if he keep us up the job is his permanently.
  19. This. Be an utter disaster if we gamble with Carver till the summer.
