You can only judge by results, and the results hardly portray them as world beaters. The opposite, actually. Agree 150% that Pardew is the problem, and he'd make a team featuring the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Rooney and Bale into relegation candidates, but the players are NOT without blame HBA has gone backover IMHO HBA barely featured last season come on. He's at the very bottom of the players to blame list.

He never seems to get any flak at the games unless I haven't noticed. Just mainly internet based grief he gets, which is obviously petty. He's a decent guy by all accounts and popular amongst our fans, but crikey he seriously needs to improve everything about his game if he continues to start for us.

easier said than done, spurs last season up front, the mackems for years at left back, many clubs have weaknesses and are short here and there, because we don't focus on them as much we take it for granted they are ok. We could (and should) have strengthened if we wanted to that summer, thats my point.

Immensely baffling Pardew still puts him out there. We need to go back to 4-3-3 imo with Tiote the deepest and Cabaye & Sissoko just in front centrally. An additional plus would surely see the dropping of Jonas but thats perhaps wishful thinking.

Personally dont buy this bringing signings forward to January, purely because they should have been done the summer before. It was patently clear we needed players then and the neglect shown imo was shocking. By bringing them forward to January, they club are effectively admitting they had no intention of recruiting for a whole season excluding Anita, which is criminal when you think about it.

True the pressure isnt as bad now Remy is here but I still think it's important to get another one over the line, preferably before the City match.

At 5mil i'd consider it as like I say I think he could be useful, but that's the most i'd pay due to how his form has been in the last few seasons.

And yet you'd like 8million for him and he's 29. Liverpool paid far to much for him originally. I'd say he was worth 15million tops when you bought him and since then his value has plummeted. Same goes for Darren Bent at Villa, the ridiculous fee's just mess with people's heads. 5mil would be a good price imo.
