from a PSR perspective? If we keep Isak now we've a cert who we know fits into the system and gives time for Woltemade to adapt much like Wilson did for Isak. Then come next Summer let him go. Larsen whilst he's PL experience would have to learn our system / style of play which takes time.

100% there is - once the window shuts it doesn't serve the player or agent for Isak not to play.
-
100% - they haven't a replacement so keeping him/losing him will probably be the difference between PL survival and relegation.

He is one of the best strikers in world football who has three years left on his contract. We are a striker light, yet we should sell way below market value because he spat his dummy out? There are many case in history of players doing the same, the club holding firm that said player going on to having a storming season. I see this being no different.

I would be so disappointed in Newcastle if they still pursued Wissa after that stunt. Just sends out the wrong message.
-
Desperate for the pay cheque - It is no different to Isak - who was happy to sign a new contracts 12 months ago but now eyes a bumper pay cheque. It's all about the money.

Already feel this lad is going to become a club legend

100% - and these players need to learn that. I am pleased Brentford are playing hard ball and we should to.
-
They have the right to ask whatever they want for him - as we do for Isak.
-
Copying Isak - as a club we need to stay well clear or we are hypocrites. They 'both' need to shut up and honour their contracts or hand in a transfer request. Neither have.

I for one hope he is still here when the transfer window shuts. I just really don't want him to get his move as I feel it just sends out the wrong message. Also Newcastle as a club will be viewed a lot stronger if he does stay and let us be honest we are also a better team with him. We have nothing to gain selling him now for what will be an amount below his value.

He's pushing it to keep Isak story alive
-
I for one am pleased we got him over Ekitike just for his character alone. Comes across as a humble guy who just wants to improve and do his best.

The whole Isak transfer has been pushed by the media - I bet all the journos have made a fortune on the back of it with all the clicks/views.

I think we have to cut all the players a bit of slack with regards the Isak situation - it totally disrupted our pre-season and the results were a reflection of that. Also we have been playing the first three games without a recognised striker. It's going to affect the players - especially those who play in the final 3rd. They've no one to target or link up with.
