Should ban posting Romano tweets unless it's a player we are signing

That is fair - I guess what we don't know is how much influence he has to make decisions - as it feels everything needs to be run past the board.

It's 100% down to Eales - wasn't his biggest selling point him building Atlanta from scratch - anyone know what he has achieved in this time here?

They can complain about PSR as much as they want but it's not stopping them putting elite level infra structure in place. Maybe, just maybe the news of Newcastle building an elite training ground might just appeal to some players thinking of joining us. I.e. Statement of intent from the club. The current training ground is an embarrassment - some Championship Clubs i.e. Leicester have better facilities.
-
Put PSR aside - PIF have really been slow to get areas of the club to elite level standards when there are no restrictions. Training Ground being the main one - three years after City was bought out development started on a state of the training ground. It's four years now since PIF bought Newcastle and still nothing. It's quick win. Scouting - I would have expected PIF to have created a world leading scouting network in the time they have been here but again - doesn't feel like it's happened. Training Ground sponsor - again another quick win. Even if they just did year on year it'd just help to bring in some revenue. It feels at times Eddie is propping the club up with the success he is managing on the pitch but the owners aren't doing their part.

PIF were never going to do a City - we are an investment.

Well they seemed determined not to spend the extra £5mil to get Gordon - paid off in the end but it might not have. And isn't the reason Trafford isn't over the line because we've been haggling for 13 months? Well that's well and truly back fired.
-
PIF - watch that Amazon docu - nearly lost Gordon over £5mil

Only 21 but he's still very raw. Not yet convinced he's PL quality but until he gets regular games we'll never know. Think it would have been better for his development last season to have sent him on loan to get games as it was pointless him just sitting on the bench.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Since Ashworth / Amanda left we seem to have regressed off the pitch. The cogs just don't seem to be turning. It's a shambolic situation that Eddie is having to get involved - the man must not be sleeping. He will burn out at this rate. -
And Amanda stayed - she got things done.

Since the original announcement there have been no further communication.

The problem we have is our Chairman has about 20 different jobs. The club must get about 5 mins of his time a week - we need a chairman who is more present / can make decisions quickly. -

I think now is the time for this one - and going forward player threads should be banned until a player has signed -

I have really grown to dislike Slot - unbelievably arrogant - only won the league cause of Salah and City imploding. -

We don't know - and we'll never know - but time is critical in getting a deal done. And we left that door open. -

Before we bid we must have an idea of how much they want for a player, and how important that player is to Eddie. We lost Pedro over haggling £10/£20 mil but then offered more than what we were willing to spend on Pedro for Ekitike. A player who is more of a risk and is not PL proven. If they had just offered Brighton the £60 mil they wanted for Pedro he could be a Newcastle player now. And this isn't a criticism of Eddie more of PIFs strategy.
