It's not like Wood is flying - that's why I am struggling to get why people think Wood is suddenly going to score the goals. He's been poor this season - 'hence' why Burnley are also in the bottom 3. Normally you scout players and pick those on current form, not that from two seasons ago.

He's a completely different player to Wilson so I assume our style of football will have to adapt to suit him.

I sooooooooooooo want him to do well and prove my scepticism wrong I really do. But I am not going to lie I am completely deflated by this signing - I just think it's a terrible bit of business and he's not the person to get the goals to keep us up. However, I will be the first person to say that I was wrong should he do just that.

Well we're going to find out. Personally I'd have more faith of either a player bang in form or a player with bags of quality with something to prove. Chris Wood fits in neither camp - Burnley are also in the relegation zone because they can't score goals. So what do we do? Buy their striker
