this FMV works both ways so its a ricidulous concept.
you either try sell a player for more than he's worth, or you manage to buy one for way under the market value.
maybe transfers between clubs with the same owners should be allowed
City are just doing what they want as no one is stopping them. UEFA don't seem to care.

His wages are like 400k a week. We couldn’t do that.
Two things: If it a loan then surely we could arrange it so Al-Ittihad continue to pay the bulk of it - if it is permanent he'll have to reduce his terms. Al-Ittihad surely can control if/when he goes and to an extent where.

If Benzema is available I would hope we would be in the mix considering who their owners are. Certainly be wrong if he went to Chelsea.

has he gone on a free?

The Gunners have also been handed a boost in their January pursuit of Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, 26, following reports that Newcastle are searching for his replacement. (Football London)
Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are among at least six clubs interested in signing England midfielder Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City, with the 28-year-old's future set to be decided next week. (Telegraph - subscription required)
Newcastle United are scouring Europe for possible midfield reinforcements with a move for priority target Phillips entirely dependent on the player convincing Manchester City to lower their demands. (i news - subscription required)
The Magpies sent their head of scouting to watch Atalanta midfielder Ederson in a 5-0 win against Frosinone but the Italian club have no interest in selling the 24-year-old Brazilian in January. (TuttoMercatoWeb - in Italian)
Bruno is going no where in Jan.

All of City’s charges, absolutely ridiculous that forest and Everton are getting done when 7 of City’s charges are P&S breaches the same as forest and Everton
Looks like City are going to also win La Liga soon as well with Girona. They've just taken over football.

Clearly meeting PSG representatives there- Bruno out. Their Mickey hat doesn't fool me.

Or by my calculations (Top 5):
Isak 120m
Bruno 100m
Botman 60m
Joelinton 60m
Gordon 50m
I can deal with selling players but IF we have to sell players, we are putting clubs over a barrel and not letting players go for beans.
I'll raise you...Botman £100mil player in this market. Gordon £100mil as well. He's stepped up a level this season- performing way above the likes of Grealish

Now would be the perfect time to nail down Howe to a 5 year deal. If thry believe he's the man for now and for the future, then do it.
Probably can't afford to.

Ederson for 35m euros. Snap their hand right off. But Juve are interested.

Sky were making it sound like a Bruno replacement. Don't know anything about the player - but seems highly rated

What would be gained by signing Mourinho? We have a united dressing room, players are showing astonishing development, just look at Gordon- different player to last season. Yes results haven't gone our way but we've had some dodgy decisions go against us and several individual errors. And a horrendous injury record. All things Eddie has no control over. Am not sure what people think Mourinho would bring? Maybe he's a bit more tactically astute than Eddie but he's past his peak whereas Eddie hasn't reached his yet. Not going to happen.

QuoteHowever, a source told ESPN that further assessments have suggested he may need surgery to keep the injury from reoccurring and would keep him out for months longer.
Not confirmed then

...so what he seems to be saying is Man City will most likely get away with it due to it being difficult to prove. Shock. Surely the emails we have all seen is proof enough that the sponsors didn't pay all the money declared as being from sponsors?
