Amanda will get Saudi to buy Sunderland and level it to the ground.
Let's spend some money - that'll shut them up

Werner to Spurs seems like an obviously good transfer to me. I also think he would have suited Howe‘s style of play.
Is that not similar to Havertz to Arsenal? Jury is out for me - he just didn't seem like he could adjust to the pace of the game.
-
I am not going to lie - I am not totally against him being sold if we get north of £100 mil as it will give us the cash injection we so desperately need. Just look at Villa.
-
Do we think we have seen his influence yet? I know his role expands further than the 1st team so imo it's hard to really judge.

Juventus have pulled out of the race to sign 28-year-old Manchester City and England midfielder Kalvin Phillips, who is also wanted by Newcastle United. (Sun)
This has a Jesse Lingard feel about it - will just drag on and on

Brighton have activated a $10m (£7.9m) release clause for Boca Juniors and Argentina Under-20 defender Valentin Barco, 19, who has also been linked with Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid.
These are the kind of signings I thought we would be making

Tonali was his replacement

Do refs watch football?
Standard of refereeing in this league is an all time low - however they are recruiting / training them it needs to change. They are clearly not up to the job - can't seem to handle the pressure.

Absolute joke.
Shocking - on par with jota decision. VAR just needs binning it's ruining the game - three years now and it's just getting worse. Awesome job Howard Webb.

Would you play him instead of Livramento?
On the left - probably yes. I rate Reguilon

Our hands are tied even with new commercial sponsors as it has to be fair market value whatever that means. Meanwhile City who exaggerated their income to spend carry on reaping the rewards of their deceit winning title after title.

Anyone wanting Eddie sacked has very short memories. He's been transformative- I was dubious about his appointment when he signed but he's proven how good a coach he is. Does he get things wrong? Of course who doesn't- he's a young manager and is still learning. He is only going to get better. He has had his hands tied this season with injuries and suspensions. Give him time- he will turn it around.

Speculative theory: Man City and the PL are in a deadlock, because Man City threaten to take the PL to court over FFP being anti-competitive if they are stripped of their titles and/or demoted a few divisions. Both parties know that Man City would have a very good chance of winning such a case, which would go against the interest of the PL and its big six cartel, and thus a compromise will be reached where parties will just kick the can down the road indefinitely as long as Man City play ball going forward.
We may as well flaunt FFP and do the same. If you can't beat them....

Sergio Reguilon on loan anyone?

Transfer News Today..

Am more concerned that the only transfer news being reported is our DoF and our manager.

I know the owners went into this with their eyes wide open but the constant PL “law” changes aimed directly at NUFC to prevent competition against the PL glamour clubs should lead to another significant legal challenge against them.
Give it time imo - it is getting ridiculous. It will get to the point where enough is enough. It's blatantly a cartel so I think it would fall like a deck of cards if legally challenged.
I tell you what all eyes on Man City - every man and his dog knows they cheated to bypass FFP. If they get away with it 'again' - FFP is finished.
-
I still don't think he'll go. We're the future.
