The fact remains that there are few countries capable of hosting a World Cup. I’d be fine if it rotated to UEFA every 8 years, since Europe does have the highest number of potential hosts. Maybe the best idea would be to scrap the confederation rotations all together and just award it to the best bid.

Not sure why that is so important really, who cares how many stadiums they need to build? Assume it means less profit for FIFA, which is probably a major reason. I think it's a good choice but I don't really get why people assume the WC should just go to the country who is already the most established. It’s a tough one, because those who are already established also generally carry the least baggage. But you do want to see new places get a shot. And there aren’t too many places that fit the bill. But I do think Morocco is one of those places.

The first two I’ll grant you, the time zone whine is precious, and the last is nonsense. By all accounts the ‘94 tournament was wildly successful and the game’s only grown since then. He means that when the time comes for Europe to get a WC, the competition between nations capable of hosting it is much harder than when they look at North America, where there's essentially just two.
