  1. The last deal Sky paid £6.4bill and BT paid £1.4bill for 3 years rights. Cant find the Bein Sports payment? Said this a while ago. Football is losing money because of COVID, the PL will use this to negotiate with the Saudis and get a better deal than they have with bein for the TV rights. Qatar have very little input outside of the TV deal. They bought the wrong club in the wrong league. It will be interesting to see how Qatar react. Will they turn their back on the Premier League? Or will they go all out and buy Leeds in an attempt to show Saudi Arabia and the UAE that they aren’t going to have the North of England and Premier League to themselves? Leeds are a really attractive club for a money-no-object foreign investor. I was always worried the Saudis might switch to them if Ashley fucked them around too much. Leeds are tiny compared to us in terms of fanbase and they'd need to bulld a brand new stadium for starters. West Ham would be a better bet. I think they'd try for them before Leeds. Leeds were getting 40k attendances in the championship. As Stifler has said, they will also probably tap into a lot of Yorkshire's fan base if they ever hit the big time again as it is the major city in the county, and probably still recognised as a major waypoint in England. Not that I want them to be bought, we have enough competition already through other mega rich clubs, but if I was an investor looking for a club with CL potential and big club appeal, that would be the one I'd go for rather than another London club. It would certainly piss the London clubs off with the potential wealth concentrated in the north
  2. Always been streamed for free Have you Bein doing something naughty
  3. Why didn’t you mention it? Was watching a BBC3 documentary on Alien hunters. so 3-5 days for the transfer of funds no official announcement until end of next week.
  4. Season to restart on 17/6, hope we get some movement on the takeover soon.
  5. Source It’s what’s Cack Jogback told his brother was happening apparently, someone told me last night. I’m taking it with a massive intravenous dogshit flavored dose of salt though. Still I thought I would post it as it’s such a random claim. Clearly you were on the sauce last night
  6. Saudi wouldn’t have the broadcast rights for the UK though, it would be the Middle East and I understand all games are shown on Saturdays and sundays. Viewers choice .
  7. The UK government might be if it risked the billions the Saudis spend in this country every year.
  8. So we have to wait for that report ? No as it's not a court with the ability to give a legal ruling. Legally its no different to you or I doing a report from what I can understand. It is, but the jurisdiction is limited trade disputes among members. If the panel were to determine that there has been wrongdoing on the part of the Saudi government the outcome would be likely to be a requirement for them to pay compensation. But I agree it seems likely that, if the panel finds against the Saudi Government, it wouldn't necessary represent conviction of a crime for the purposes of the Premier League owners and directors test. No, the WTO is not a criminal court and can’t convict anyone.
  9. Any report by a committee within the WTO would still have to be tested in a court of law should the PL use the conclusions as a basis to block the takeover.
  10. Reuben brothers are based there I believe.
  11. Nice, let's see where it goes Luton?
  12. That's very interesting... Is it? How can Ashley hold out for anything else if the deal is already done, signed and with the PL? What makes you think Ashley can't pull out? If there's an extra 50M on the table, I wouldn't put it past him. He can’t, contracts for the sale have been signed and are with the PL.
  13. If it's not sorted by this week (Monday at latest) then even I will say there is an issue mind and I have been mega positive. That final WTO report is not due until mid-June so maybe that's what the Premier League are waiting for if that's the case. The WTO is an organisation, not a court of law. Their report has reached a conclusion, a conclusion that can be challenged in a court of law. If the PL block the takeover on the basis of a WTO report then this will head to the courts. Having said that I’m as certain as I can be that the takeover will go ahead.
  14. Looks like that GLF6 is landing at East Midlands, how far is Shirebrook from there?
  15. Looks like it’s heading west
  16. Apparently it took 7 weeks for the Man City O&D test to be approved. Really? I thought I saw it reported as 3 weeks. If I remember correctly it was posted on here about a month or so a go. I don’t fancy trawling through all the posts

  18. Would be such an interesting trio to start a rebuild with under Rafa. All between 25 and 27 years old, so a good balance of experience and still got some youth. Lots of talent and potential to unlock still in all three. Caulkin thinks Rafa is likely to remain in China for the time being.
