I do agree, but cast your mind back to this time in 2009, we all thought similar about that squad. Nobody expected us to p*ss the championship that year. Yeah but we had players like Enrique and colocinni who were a different class of defender then too. Colocinni played with a cigar every game. But we didn't know that. At the time they were the defenders that leaked the 2nd most goals in the premier league, they came in good in the championship and I expect similar from Lascelles, Dummett, Mbemba etc... who in fact already have looked decent for us despite relegation.
