Agree in part. We have every right to stand in his way until the right bid comes in. However, knowing when to sell and how to buy well like we have done in this last year and a half is realistically the only way we're going to get anywhere near the top. We don't have the money to spend indiscriminately so we have to be savvy and we have to sell individual players when the price is right so we can improve the squad as a whole. I would only ever want to sell for the good of the club, not for the good of the player.

Yeah the shirt numbers they were wearing in the friendlies are the ones for the Euros I think. Cabaye looks a cert to start, started in all the friendlies. Ben Arfa will be on the bench but will probably get a sub appearance as a game-changer.

Aye, always easily had the potential to be but still has to prove himself at least another year consistently to even get near that sort of level. He fannied around with his career for way too long. To be fair we're a financially well-run club now and every player has his price, luckily because we're healthy we can demand way over the odds so we'll hopefully never get fleeced unless we get another contract situation like Enrique's. With all that in mind I can't see him going anywhere this summer, perhaps next year.
