Two lads in my school team and Sunday team both had England trials at Lilleshall in the late 90's. They didn't make it unfortunately but both were amazing players at 15/16. Tactics were spot on and the players gave their absolute all, tackles flying in one after another simply because they knew Rafa had done his bit at it was up to them to do theirs. I don't see the issue with applause or silence tbh. Applause to me shows the appreciation of his life,his achievements and him as a person. Silence of course shows respect so I think either are acceptable. If it was me I know my family would prefer applause as I would if it was any of my family.

Been thinking today but surely it would have been better to put a strong team out for this game and make changes for Man City. I think a full strength team would have won us the game and improved morale. Fitness wouldn't be an issue as a mid week game is fine at this level, albeit not every week. It's with hindsight obviously but we had no real reason to rest first team players. It was always going to be a tough game against them especially away from home. I didn't understand not playing ayoze but playing joselu, especially considering the line up against Chelsea.

Enjoyed Mendy always having a laugh,his personality must be great to have in a team. Some player too! Also liked Bernardo silva and don't mind Walker tbh. Would definitely get fucked off with Delph though,he thinks he's far better than he actually is. Also expected Pep to be a lot more tactical,I know they cut a lot of his tactics out as to not give anything away but a lot of what he said tactics wise was quite obvious,it seems he really struggles tactically against teams that attack too. A lot of the defeats were against teams that decided to have a right go at attacking them.
