Brilliant! Every single shit team, which there will be loads of, will play 11 in defense, never venture past the halfway line and still have a chance to win the group games on penalties. Can't wait for this!
-
Hopefully a start for Mitrovic.
-
Why does everyone assume that we're buying Wilson, and why would he drop down a level?
-
Same s**** side that dominated this match for 85 minutes? We couldn't create a single clear-cut chance against the third worse defence in the division, man. Well that's a lie. Aye, I can't even comprehend how much of a contrary agenda you need to have to be able to say we created nowt in that game like. I didn't say that, though. There was nothing clear-cut. Half chances for Gayle and Clark admittedly. A free shot from 5 yards is only a half chance?
-
Thank god we didn't have Mitro out there when we were pumping balls into the box.
-
5 goals and 2 assists in the 5 games he has started this season, the useless cunt.
-
I just don't see the point in sending players off for fouls like that, barely even touched him and they already got the penalty kick.
-
Awful decision.
-
So you want us to get rid of Mitro even though you don't know of any better strikers for a reasonable price (15M£ or lower) that could replace him. I guess it makes sense if you really, really hate the guy, but to anyone else it seems kinda stupid.
-
There's no way there isn't a far better striker available in Europe that we could get for 15m Like who?
-
When will we get to know what he said?
-
Proper managers like Sam Allardyce or Steve Bruce would never use american terminology like PK or road games. It's an absolute disgrace how low english football has fallen when foreign coaches get employed.

If he continues to score at the same average per season as he has done until now, he will have 174 top flight goals when he is 33. Hes on 58 top-flight goals in 5 seasons now. By top flight I mean decent leagues, not amateur clogger leagues such as the Jupiler First Division. To make it easier, how many PL goals will he get in his career? 25? Depends on if he stays with us after we're promoted. He scored a goal on average every 234th minute in his last PL season. If we base his ratio on that and say that he becomes a starter in the Premier League, I think an average of 2500 minutes every season would be a proper estimate. Based on that estimate he will score 10 goals every season. Seeing he already has 9 he needs 16 more to reach 25 which he should get in about a season and a half. It all depends on how many years he spends in the PL of course, but if we say that he spends three more years then he will end up with a little over 40 PL goals. Of course the estimates doesn't take into account him (possibly) improving as a player, playing in a better or worse team than Newcastle or anything like that.

He's been great this season in almost every game he has started.
-
Already has more than 50 top-flight goals man.
-
So your only criticism of Mitrovic is that he doesn't do enough running?
-
Apologies! It's 14 matches! The rest of the numbers should be fine though, was using both Soccerway and Whoscored but misread a parentheses.
-
He's scored 5 goals and has 2 assists in 12 matches, 6 of which he started. He has a goal every 114th minute. If you take assists into the equation he has a goal or assist every 81 minute. But whatever man, he is lazy and not good enough.
-
How would you define PL quality then? Cause there are a lot of worse players than Mitrovic playing in the PL.
-
9 goals in 22 starts in his debut season in the Premier League to be fair to the lad. That's not too bad.
-
I think the fans are worried about the bigger picture, not the three points today. Hardly idiots.
-
I have a questionfor those people who've been following Newcastle for over 40 years; were attendances such a hot topic back in the good ol days?
-
Should just rename this to the Attendance thread or something.
