Wish we'd signed Sigurdsson

Bony should have done better there

Canny good this Sanchez fella.

It's took people a while to catch on. Brilliant when building a team. As soon as he lands on something good he gets given cash and ballses it up. His teams always struggle from January onwards as well. I'd back Hull to go down if there wasn't an utter dearth of quality down there. Ourselves included.

Remember playing Pro Evo with them when they had Sneijder, Heitinga etc. Wesley Sonck was outstanding on that game.

We've never won a derby while they've been here though have we? That was what killed the mentally unstable mackem before them Fairly sure you won one in my early days. May have been a draw... Just looked it up. Haven't been here for a derby defeat. Long may it continue, can see it ending this season tbh. Last night we were shocking but somehow managed to win. Fletcher stays fit he might score enough to keep us up.

He shouldn't, he's been getting a kings ransom for being utterly gash for about 3 year. It's just the haggard beard, the way he's been stuck on that Villa bench for what seems like a century now, the way he waits fo rthat through ball that never comes once he does get on ... just tragic stuff man. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke

Played one game. Now injured I know it's only one game but do you have any initial impressions? Not quick enough to play on the wing. Looks canny on the ball though.

Are you serious? To watch that all the way and have the technique to put it across the keeper while airborne and time the scissor kick.

Didn't help that Dyer had no respect for Sir Bobby at all. Alongside Bramble and Bellamy. While I'm sure they'll remember the good times mostly, Dyer, Jenas and Bramble will regret how their role in Bobby leaving has adversely hurted their careers. Does Jenas even have a club? He doesn't. Not a bad pundit though to be fair.

Robert Pires and Fredrik Ljungberg I've decided to pick a team to support now. Gone for Ljunberg's team Mumbai as Peter Reid is manager. Robert Pires and Fredrik Ljungberg

Luis Garcia, Capdevilla, Trezeguet and Del Piero all over there too

Don't forget player manager David James What? Must be pushing towards 50 now. Bankruptcy has a lot to answer for. I'd forgotten about that...

Elano once of Man City has scored the winner for some Indian team in their league. I imagine there'll be a few more recognisable names over there than just him and Chopra

Wouldn't rate him below Clark - but agree with the rest. As much as I hate Lee Clark for signing for the mackems he did it consistently for us over a period of 4 or 5 years in a very good team rather than playing well when a potential move or world cup place was up for grabs. Despite the t-shirt and stuff I've got no shame in admitting Lee Clark is probably the best central midfielder I've seen live in a Sunderland shirt. Only Hutchison was near his level.

Will always like Keane for the promotion season still my favourite supporting Sunderland although it co-incided with me being able to drink at the match which may have influenced that decision. He is a bit of a knob though.

I despise Warnock but he seems to be doing alright. West Ham have been excellent this season so far as well. Pardew was sacked by a League One club. I'll agree in that instance. However he did manage to get yourselves to 5th. Luck? Let's not open that door Fair enough :lol;

From what I've seen of Bournemouth, not a lot admittedly. His team plays good football. Ball on the floor. They also seem to have plenty of width. That said I think at this point your lot would be too big for him.

I'd disagree tbh. Larsson rarely beats the first man. Johnson is slightly better. Colback never took them for us
