He was bloody shocking the times I saw him playing for the Heed. I've never known a player who simply didn't seem to understand the offside rule as mch as him; he'd often stand 5 yards offside demanding the ball. I've met him, total cunt

Disagree, we're s*** but there were signs today we've actually got a decent team somewhere. Positives being Buckley and Vergini. We need someone to put it in the net, granted. I'm hopeful Wickham comes good again. I do like vergini tbh. I obvs don't watch them as much as you but no goals in a side equals big trouble IMO. What about rodwell? Not as good as hoped? He looks alright, nothing more. I agree no goals equals trouble btw. Reckon Cisse will get them for you or are your lot in just as much s***? We are in the s*** if pardew stays simple as that, we will go down. Cisse could hit form again but as a functioning unit we are awful and have hardly any goals in us Sort of the opposite for us (if Cisse or Riviere hits form that is) you have a goalscorer but don't function as a team. We do, yet don't have a goalscorer. Yeah pretty much. Both f***ed in different ways. Mint. Dat hotbed haven't even thought of boro are they doing well. That's all I f***ing need atm Doing alright tbf to them. Half their squad are loanees like, why use your own famed academy when your manager is mates with Mourinho. Mostly from Chelsea I'd imagine? Bamford, that Nigerian defender and the keeper that was s*** in midweek are all from Chelsea, aye. Ormero and Blackman? May have spelled the first wrong.

Don't play FM. Where's he play?

Factoring in Pardew. I think there's still a chance. This numbers thing is hard. I'll agree with a previous poster. He's still there end of November it's nailed on. Mackematics I work in a bank

Di Maria is fucking class like

The fact that my team has probably an outside chance of a League Cup and nothing else

Remember when brummie told us of the shite that O'Neill would serve up at Sunderland? We didn't listen. He was proven right. Take heed of my warning. You do not want Steve Bruce managing your football team.

Good to see ambition.

Been starting I think with Bentaleb and Eriksson. Man United could do a lot worse than trying to get Sandro or Paulinho. Pochettino doesn't seem to fancy them.
-
He's not, trust me. He's a close second granted.

Of all the people I would never want to manage Sunderland Warnock would probably be number one. The man is a cretin of the highest order and it would not surprise me in the slightest if what Puncheon said is true. Was Pardew in charge of West Ham when they sent Sheffield United down?

Keeps it up til January and Mike will be flogging him to Spurs or something for a vastly inflated price. £10m profit in 6 months? Usually how he operates isn't it? We'd have to sell him for about £20m for it to be a £10m profit in Mike's world. Can't forget about dem signing on fees, agent fees and wages for his entire contract here, no matter if he is staying for the full contract or not. Good point. Gutted we've let £20m, Ginger Pirlo, England international, Killingworth Cabaye go for nowt :-(

Given how dire England have been, and how little hope there seems to be of that turning around any time soon, you might be able to turn that into a positive: "C'mon lad, we'll shelter you until England are no longer a shambolic shower of s****, and you can move on in [2? 5? 10? 25?] years with your international reputation unsullied." Never thought of it that way mind.

This is true. Bent was averaging about 1 in 2 for us and barely got a look in til he moved to Villa. Based on form alone Cattermole is ahead of Colback at the minute. Cattermole? Surely if you are going to nominate a Sunderland player it would be Rodwell? 2 games I've seen us play this season, Cattermole has been better than Rodwell. I'd rather players got picked on merit. At the minute it just tells any English player we try and sign, go somewhere else, you'll be nowhere near the squad if you sign for Sunderland. Merit is 2 games? Ok then. Seems as though that's what Colbacks call up is based on... If we go off the back end of last season. Rodwell wasn't playing but Cattermole was miles ahead of Colback. Ahead of him for tackling maybe. As a footballer Colback's far superior. I would disagree. I'd say Cattermole's footballing ability is underrated particularly as the disciplinary stuff cloud's people's judgements. He's always going to be viewed as a 'clogger'. He's a much better footballer than he's given credit for. He's liable to do something stupid at any moment though, especially in a big game. That's reason enough to not pick him. "Ginger Pirlo" though Didn't Lee Ryder make that one up? Dear god, when the England manager starts quoting that cretin it's time to be done with the national team...
