Not wrong there, see Everton/Reading but with a stronger bench and new suignings uncorrupted by the nerves of previous losses I think we can be much more positive throughout the game and avoid the post half-time disaster.
if we get an early goal we will win comfortably, if not our new signings add strength from the bench and we will still win narrowly, can't see villa getting anything. they've lost against Bradford, Millwall, they're fullbacks are awful, they have terrible central defenders, Benteke is a handful and they have a bit of pace with Agbong and thats it, guard against the pace use our energy in midfield and prey Cisses can hit something other than keepers and posts. simples imo
tbf, we were desperate for a long out ball against Norwich and Shola can hold it up well when he's in the mood, we're desperate fo someone strong to play off.
Bit worried about this as Pards has talked up Guthrie and labelled Pavel Progrebnyak one of the worst divers in the PL. Nailed on they'll both have blinders
yup, both strange and after positive results (Pards sacked 2 days after 4-0 win) and Pards said he didn't see eye to eye with the chairman
Sounds like a chairman with an ego to match his bank balance and a less than friendly attitude towards managers who may disagree with his take on transfer window dealings. Of course thats pure speculation and Adkins might have had hid missus or summit, alledgedly.....maybe Pards did the dirty too, that would explain the sackings.
Outstanding work! That should see Southampton below us for the rest of the season. Is this the same chairman that has previous with the Pardew sacking?
