19:16: Liverpool v Sunderland (20:00 GMT) It looks like Sunderland have not only parked the bus, they have popped the tires, set it on fire and used it as the basis for a flaming barricade at Anfield. Three centre-backs in Wes Brown, John O'Shea and Santiago Vergini will be supported by the combative pair of Lee Cattermole and Liam Bridcutt in midfield. Is that enough to stem the flow of Liverpool's attacks?

FWIW Gouffran was one of the worst players on the pitch tonight

A class above, really? He put one a plate for Anita but did very little else from where I was sitting, spent most of his 35 minute appearance wandering around.

I'd play Haidara instead of Dummett tonight, Dummett was blowing out of his arse after an hour on Saturday, kept standing with his hands on hips to get his breath back when we were up the other end of the pitch -

Sunderland have named former Chelsea chief scout Lee Congerton in a newly created role of sporting director. The 40-year-old replaces Roberto De Fanti, who was sacked in January after seven months as director of football. Congerton has left a similar role with Bundesliga side Hamburg, whom he joined in 2011 after six years in west London. "Nowadays, recruitment is one of the most important areas in football so I'm looking forward to working alongside Lee," said head coach Gus Poyet. After an unglamorous playing career that was ended by injury, Congerton went into youth coaching at Wrexham and Liverpool before moving to Stamford Bridge. There he worked alongside sporting director Frank Arnesen, who took him to Hamburg after a backroom clear-out at Chelsea following Andre Villas-Boas's sacking as head coach.

Thought Gillead was fairly anonymous tbh, Aarons, Kemen, Armstrong played well, although Kemen could have been sent off for persistent fouling
-
3-2 Chelski Boger with a good long range effort
-
Chelsea TV commentator called Kemen a cheat
-
Commentator jokingly said I hope the Chelsea defender did catch Aarons Typical horrible Chelsea cockney c**t
-
Surely they could set up a video link at his house or the training ground and communicate that way
-
He's got Mike Mullarky and Darren Cann his two world cup assistants too
-
Mackems can safely put their passports away for another year
-
Ben Arfa's takeaway delivery men

-
Fines usually do go to charity iirc?
-
