In 2014, and to top it all, I had a problem with the return flights so my trip was: Milano -> Copenhagen -> Brussels -> Lisbon Yeah. Imagine me in Copenhagen dressed in Benfica's shirt for apparentely no reason and crying in the middle of the airport still in denial. I don't really know why I still care for football, tbh. I mean, it's somehow sad. I never had a moment of victory at international levels, with Benfica or Portugal. It's sad. Can you imagine England losing the EURO final at home against Greece? It's almost funny.

Crazy night man. Came from Lisbon to my hometown at 1am and in the next couple hours for some reason I was playing at some table football tournament and got completely drunk. I sent that message after being disqualified, while drinking a beer and watching Copa America.

But you can't know that, you haven't seen ALL of the players. Not sure you need to have seen every single player play to know that the standard of football is generally better. I don't think you can compare today's players to those from decades ago. The standard's changed because things like coaching methods and tactics have improved, not because players have got more talented.. Who knows how good Di Stefano would have been in today's Real team, or how good Ronaldo would have been in his? Would Messi have been the same player if he was playing in a rigid VM formation and smoked like a chimney? What would Pele have been capable of in Pep's Barcelona? It's pointless speculating. Even the physics of the ball are completely different, changing the whole dynamics of the gameplay.
